And the Mother of the year award goes to...
I had to read this 3 times before I could stop shaking my head. I mean, seriously!
GOSHEN TOWNSHIP, Ohio — A police officer in Ohio said he pulled over a woman he suspected was driving drunk and found the woman's 1-year-old son steering the wheel, reported WLWT-TV in Cincinnati.
Marya Green was pulled over Tuesday.
The officer said that when he came to the driver's window, he found Green's 1-year-old son at the wheel, sitting in Green's lap.
Green, 29, registered a 0.11 percent blood-alcohol level. Two other children, ages 8 and 5, were also in the car.
Green was arrested and faces charges of DUI, driving under OVI suspension, noncompliance and endangering children.
Police said this is Green's third DUI arrest in six years.
The children were released to their father, police said.

Hopefully she's not allowed custody for a long, long time.

Chances are she's an alcoholic.
Maybe this will help her to finally hit her bottom.

Who in thier right mind??? I am apalled! I heard about this happening, but the child was 7. he kept trying to call 911, but his Mom kept making him hang up. She was all hopped up on prescription and illegal drugs i think.
I can not believe that there are people like this out there. i wont even take a sip of anything alchoholic if I have to drive my son anywhere afterwards. then again, my lesson was learned when i was 7. My father had died in a drunk driving accident (he was the drinker). I knew at that age, what the consequences would be if I ever did that when i got older.
what a shame.

OMG! I just don't understand some people. DH won't even have one drink and drive anywhere (with the kids or by himself). I was always against drinking and driving, but after my little sister's friends got into an accident (they were hit by a drunk driver), I became more vocal about it. None of her friends were killed thankfully (2 seriously injured tho). There is also a case going on down here, where a drunk driver hit a little boy and killed him. He plead guilty, but said the accident happened so fast, that it wouldn't have mattered if he was sober or drunk. He hit the kid on the sidewalk! I'm sure if he was sober, he wouldn't have driven on the sidewalk!
