Mother's Day gift arrived

I was just thinking yesterday that it would just be nice to get flowers from my kids this year.
Just now I got a delivery of tulips. They are so pretty and I am so happy

Tulips are a great Mother's Day gift! Lucky you, enjoy them! Deer eat tulips here so I don't even try to plant them. I'd LOVE a bouquet of those!

I want an iris, my dad bought one when he was here, he saw it at my aunts house, and we bought BR's grandma one. its beautiful. starts with an F and the name is like 87 letters long. But I doubt I will get it. LOL

I think they were 25.00. I cant imagine buying a plant for that much so I kinda hoped for that.

I got my MIL a glider rocker ( the others are gona pitch in) . thinking about getting my mom a potted flower. We are going to my MIL's for steak and shrimp and then I have to go see my mom on sunday.

Last year I did get a vermont teddy bear it was cute. it was barefoot and pregnant!

I sent my mil and mother flowers for mother's day! I'm going to get a basket of hanging flowers to plant in my pedastal planter in my front garden!

I bought my mother her gift yesterday! She wanted to get a French Hybrid lilac bush last year, but we couldn't get one. The store we buy from got them in, but they all arrived dead, so they returned them and didn't get more. They got them in this year, so we were able to get one this year for her! When it blooms, it will be nice. It is purple flowers trimmed in white!

I don't have a mother or mil to buy for any more and this will be my first Mother's Day with neither of my girls home. I think that is why I wanted flowers from them. I look at the flowers and think of them, like a piece of them is here in those flowers

I have a MIL still, and her flowers from us arrived yesterday. She claims they are the most beautiful flowers ever. I ordered them from ProFlowers and they're pink and peach roses with little purple "filler" flowers in the arrangement. I knew she liked the color peach so I'm glad she loved them.

One of the Ferry services here offers residents of our county free round-trip ferry service to Mackinac Island once a year on Mother's Day. It's normally about $21 per person! It's supposed to be rainy this year so I don't think we'll go, but we did that last year. We've gone before when it's been drizzly and the boys hated it. We normally pack a picnic so the rain and cold is a factor we'd rather not deal with. Hubby asked what I wanted for Mother's Day and I said flowers without a pause. And breakfast in bed, of course! Hey, if he asks I'm going to be honest.

I got a purse from my daughter!

I made my mother a basket full of lotion, soap, bath wrap, with the usual I will give her a manicure and a pedicure (dont like that part) but she loves it! I always make up baskets for all holidays with all the free with purchase, try this try that and bonus buys etc.

They are fun and I dont realize the cost over a period of time.

I had sent my brother and sil some flowers just recently as a thank you, and she said the roses were the biggest blooms she'd ever seen when they opened wide.
