Questions for the Hive Empty Questions for the Hive

Post by Rebecca1340 Thu May 22, 2008 1:10 pm

Scarlett suggested this and I thought it was a great idea. We know that the hive is here, so why not post some questions for them? They may not answer us, but at least we can get it off our chests with a chance of being seen.
Please keep to posting questions only so this thread doesn't get too jumbled and off topic. Not that anything at Unofficial Bzz ever goes off topic Razz

Questions for the Hive Empty Re: Questions for the Hive

Post by Rebecca1340 Thu May 22, 2008 1:14 pm

Here's my questions:
Why? Just why?
Why did you try to sneak by with taking 40% of our points buying power? Did you assume we are all stupid or just that we wouldn't notice?
Why did you force us to sign up for a spam site?
Why are you not being as transparent as you claim to be?

Oh and why didn't you ask for agent input from the start? We wouldn't have expected you to be able to fulfill all of our requests, but maybe this big mess that's been created could have been minimalized.

Why don't you send active agents some Bzz branded stuff, like keychains, etc. It is advertising for you when we use them in public, and it makes people happy to get little gifts like that? I would love a keychain, troll and travel mug please. It would make me much happier after this Mypoints fiasco and buy you lots of goodwill with those cheap for you to get items. Heck you may even have a supply on hand left from the old reward system. It might make people happier too in that we feel we lost value converting to Mypoints, so throw us a bone now, so to speak. Lots of companies send out stuff like that as a thank you anyway. Just smart to keep people happy and feeling appreciated.

If you are getting a $2 signup bonus for every agent that joins MyPoints through your link, why didn't you give us a better conversion rate?

Did you really think we wouldn't notice that we are losing nearly half the value of our points?

What's going to happen w/the ppl under 18 who can't have a mypoints acct?
What about the several agents who have a child/spouse that are agents as well and can't open a mypits account?

Why didn't you have actual agents involved in beta testing these changes before they were made live? I used to work for a very large company that had us "real" employees run software through real scenarios, since programmers just don't think of every possible situation. I think that point is being proven here.

Will there be a pending stage for the points transfer to mypoints? Mypoints tends to hold points in pending (cant use them until they clear) for a time period??????

Is it too late to cancel the points transfer? I'm thinking that it will be better just to let them float off into cyber space than deal with MyPits.

Questions for the Hive Empty Re: Questions for the Hive

Post by itsirC Thu May 22, 2008 8:15 pm

My questions so far...

1). Is this all some sort of joke and the real rewards system will be revealed on 6/9 to the Active agents that confirmed their accounts (not the bogus 400K)?

2). How many members of the Hive are also BzzAgents? What was their HONEST reaction to these changes?

3). This may have already been asked.... Where are the rewards for those with 40 points? And please don't say they can click to get more points. That was not something we agreed to in advance.

4). What does MYPoints get out of the deal with BzzAgent and what does BzzAgent get out of the partnership with MyPoints? Just wondering because it doesn't look like the actual BzzAgents got anything out of this deal Sad

My only question is this:

What are your loyal Canadian Agents supposed to do?

I do not travel to the US to shop and I don't shop at places that I have to pay custom fees to ship something to me in Canada. There is not any Canadian Gift Cards and there is not even Amazon.ca. You promised that this would be Canadian-friendly and yet I do not see it.

Questions for the Hive Empty Re: Questions for the Hive

I'm curious whether any aspect of the "new system" will involve rewarding longevity/seniority as an agent, campaigns completed with at least three reports each, total reports ever submitted, something like that. After all, because we MUST disclose our BzzAgent status with every Bzz, I reckon I've Bzzed about BzzAgent itself a good thousand times since I started. That's gotta be worth something to you.

I know this isn't a question about what happened yesterday, but maybe if I bring it up now there will be time to consider it before the next changes are announced.

As someone who has been loyally Bzzing along for a couple years now, campaign after campaign, and yet only managed to get up into Tier 2 briefly, I'd like to see a system that makes me feel like my time spent doing all this is valuable to BzzAgent and the clients who pay them for what I do. It's voluntary, but it's also time-consuming.

Another question- how are the one and two line reports graded for a score. I hope they are graded much harsher than the detailed Bzz reports most of us do.?????

Oh man, I hope they are too!!! Some of my reports are so long, they could be sold as a short story. LOL! I don't understand why BzzAgent allows the one-liners to happen. It just seems like cheating.

Actually, all reports that include Bzzing another human (rather than just giving your own feedback on the product) are approved, regardless of length. Scores of 1 are normally given to reports that don't Bzz someone (just your own opinions). The rest are given 3's or 5's.

Which is a stupid, stupid way of doing it.

II would like to know if that Map will ever include Canada. This has been down the bottom of that Map since it was started.

**Yes, just the U.S. for right now. Don't worry Canadians, we're working feverously to add Canada to the BzzMap! Stay tuned.

(Yes, I know this doesn't have anything to to with Shaloha, but I've always wanted to know.
