Looks like Brian D answered Erlk and Suzanne

# BrianD Says:
May 28th, 2008 at 12:11 pm

Suzanne and erlk: Were you able to successfully go through the process on the BzzAgent site of specifying the MyPoints account where you want to transfer your points? If so, you will not lose your points. Right now, you’re simply telling us whether or not you want to transfer your BzzAgent points and to which MyPoints account they should be applied. Regardless of whether or not you remember the password for that account, the transfer will happen on June 9th.

Unfortunately we can’t provide support for technical issues involving the MyPoints website (such as resetting a forgotten password). I’m sorry you’re having trouble and I hope they respond soon. But rest assured that your points will transfer as long as we know which account to send them to.

So they are there, just choosing to ignore everything else. At least someone got some answers!

And it's a generic crappy run around answer at that.

Sounds like pass the buck to me. BzzAgent will do our part and tranfer them, if you can't spend them due to a lost password, that is Mypoints problem to fix. We hope they will fix it for you, but if they have bad cs and don't fix it, it isn't anything we did, so don't blame us. Hot potato, hot potato, who's got the hot potato Question

What a bullshit reply though! There should be a whole other thread on the beelog to address everyone's concerns.

Well, I am actually glad that they are taking the step of answering questions. They do need to have a whole post about the technical issues and how agents should address them, but this is better than dead silence.

I honestly think that this reply, and the faq update, is their answer for the technical issues. They said they have something for the under 18 crowd. I am going to guess, sorry Mrs Chia, but that will be bzz trolls, keychains and what have you on that order (just a hunch though).
As for any other technical issues that doesn't involve telling bzz which email to transfer your points to, the burden lies with Mypoints. It is like banging your head against wall dealing with Mypoints cs.... it feels sooo good when you stop bounce

Do you think there's any chance they'll believe that I'm 15? Anything has to be better than dealing with MyPits!

I think they aren't talking much because they are afraid to create more havoc. I am wondering if as the mouth of BzzAgent, if JoeC isn't in a bit of hot water over this misrepresentation. That is his job ultimately presenting them in the best marketing light. I fear no matter what kind of change over they did, they would have gotten outcries. It's not JoeC's fault. Change is a difficult thing for people, fair change for a group of 400,000 is even more difficult. They were in a very difficult position to abolish the points, and try to be fair to everyone, but apparently that's what they needed to do to move forward.

I think everyone will be glad, both in and out of the hive, when the change over goes in place. There will probably still be outrage, but things will settle, people will come and go, they will either accept the new system, or not.

As much as this stress has been on us, trust me I think they've mopped a few brows over this.
