Ha! Mrschia ... we posted at the exact same time! Yea, that BzzAgent Josh was pulling someone's leg (he doesn't work for us!). Ok all, I have to drive to RI to visit my mom. And she doesn't have reliable internet access (read: I don't even think her computer works), so I won't be on this site again until tomorrow.

I am the only one from BzzAgent authorized to post about the changes to the rewards system. So unless it's Dave (he'll publish something on the BeeLog about rewards later this week!), if the message ain't from JoeC, then it ain't from BzzAgent. Besides, our new system has absolutely nothing to do with PayPal or monetary payments. (Sorry if that's what you were hoping for.)

I think GC's would be great that way I could select what I want but still choose what store. Thanks JoeC for all the updates its great to have a reliable source of information.

I like the idea of gift cards or a third party site because it should mean the hive will have more time to work on getting campaigns and new clients. Ordering, repackaging, addressing, and labeling boxes of rewards is bound to take loads of time. I just hope that our points will still hold their value.

Well, this will be interesting to see what happens. I just wonder how they will figure out the value of points. Cause if all the points I have and all I get is like a $5 gift card to someplace, that doesn't cover alot, so i would probably just use what I have to a key and trash the rest.

I've been a bzzagent forever, I do about two or three reports per campaign. I have 1409 points, in other research places that would be around $140 give or take.
I have not received the email yet. My husband got an email and he doesn't bzz a lot and yes he does his own reports, that's why he doesn't have many points! I wonder if higher points people receive their emails later and yes I wonder what place has restaurant and merchandise ? BTW I'm sitting here at the party in my flannel nightie after work drinking coffee (don't look, it's comfy but not attractive)

I hope after all this hype, that I like the system. Using a third party though makes me worry. I was trying to stay positive, but most sites have high gc prices these days. I want my 2000+ points to really rake in the rewards, but I fear I am going to qualify for a $10 fast food gc or something equally lame

I am excited and scared all at the same time! I just became a tier 3 on Saturday, so I was really excited about that. I just hope this new system really is everything that they've said it would. I have been bzzing my butt off and I really liked the old system, even though I only reedemed points once for the burts bees kit, I was ok for the most part with the way the rewards worked. I only joined in January or February and I have had 5 campaigns, horizons organic milk, oust, claritin, ziploc big bags, the plum card(BIG MISTAKE) and now aveeno daily moisturizer. I just really got the hang of the whole system and was starting to advance. I just hope that Bzzagent is still as great as it has been. My fingers are crossed...I would really miss the site and bzzing, I have enjoyed it so much!

Are you sure we are getting gift cards and not discounts? I got the letter and all it says is that the points can be converted to 'rewards' to over 100+ retailers and restaurants. I have over 1000 pts and I hope I am not going to get some sort of discount card but some actual useful gift card. I mean what if you get $5 off gift cards or something and can only get 1 to each place. Or even $10 or $20 gift cards to 1 place. That wouldn't buy much so you would have to spend your own money to complete the sale. I hope this all ends up being worth while! I hope with 1000+ pts you could buy at least a $100 gift cert with them.

chiquita55 I don't think you have to worry about getting $5 off gift cards. Thinking of how many points some people have right now, that just wouldn't work. BzzAgent has had some really decent rewards in the past, specifically during the April Fool's Day Bonanza. . It would be fun to make a list of them all. I really think there will be something for everyone and that everyone will come away from this happy. In the past it has been gift items but gift cards fit everyone.

So does anyone still think that 40 points will buy a pony? I'm hoping for something bigger -- maybe a llama so I won't have to cut my grass anymore. How many points do you think one of those will be?

Ohhhh Rebecca, a llama does sound cool, and alpacas are neat too but.... I want a goat! I really, really do. Please can I get a goat with my 1570? please?

Goats eat everything though. Plus you'd have to get a llama anyway to protect the goat herd. And a llama would be good for you because you could train it to pull the kids in a cart or they could ride on its back.
