Aceptable gift for kids friends? Empty Aceptable gift for kids friends?

OK, bayley has decided that we must MUST buy/make gifts for her friends. I suggested she bake them cookies( no trouble for me, and reasonably inexpensive). She wants to get them little plastic jar thingies and put candy hair thingies, small trinkets. That would be fine for 3 friends, but she wants to do it for 11 friends.....her "besties", The reason I am going insane and never have any clue how many kids are actually in my house/yard/mud puddle at any given time.(YES I fished seven 13yo girls out of the mud yesterday, hosed them off, and fed them on the porch)
So I need ideas, I like the cookie idea, and we could put them in a decorative container....I don't want to spend more than $100 on the whole group....ideas? input?

I could also just not fill the puddle with sand this weekend, and they could continue to play in the giant nasty puddle.

I have an idea, Erin. It will take some time on her part, but Bayley could design ornaments for each of them. Do you have Artscow friended on Facebook? Their $1.99 ornament offer is EXCELLENT. I designed several of them for that price and have received them. Love them! Also - today is the last day to order these, though - the Dog Tags are GREAT! I got several of those, too. If you're interested I can post a photo or 2. Very affordable gifts that they can keep forever. With the dog tags, they can wear them (they come with a long chain) or you can shorten the chain and they can put them on their backpacks or purse strap. The ornaments come with a ribbon hanger.

One year when Wynonna was in Cheerleading, we decided to give little gifts to the girls in the squad. We didn't have much money to spend. What we did is I went out and bought quality candy canes..the nice ones. We bought a package of jingle bells and I took some pretty ribbon. We put a couple bells on each ribbon, added a tiny gift card which she made and decorated with some really pretty stickers we found and punched a hole through each card to put the ribbon through and tied the ribbon in a bow..it wasn't much but the girls loved it!

Thanks Lori, I am looking at artscow now. Dog tags are a great idea, she can design them however she wants.
I would do candy canes, but 2 of her friends are diabetic, and one is on a very restricted diet.

They're pretty high quality, Erin. One tip - don't put words too close to the edge of the tag when you're designing them. The edges are rounded, and you may lose some of it.

Another hint - these are made in Hong Kong and shipped from there. I never worry about using copyrighted images on these. It's just not policed. So shoot me. Aceptable gift for kids friends? 277833

I am going to show her when she gets home, she will probably love them....there is also a 10% off code, and free shipping over a certain amount, so I might order more than 11, they look like a really good gift, and I don't have time to go shop right now.

The price includes shipping, Erin! Normally, shipping from Hong Kong is a deal breaker. And I don't think you can use another code with this offer, you have to use code NOQUEUES to get the $1.99 price. Or she can choose to make 2-sided designs for $2.99 each (shipping included).

I am going to use that code then...she can either pick out something she likes, or make cookies!

Erin, be amazed when the code is added to the checkout cart. I remember the total dropping from something like $33 to $5.97 (for 3 tags)!

kids will love, love, love the dog tags... and the couple of things I've ordered from Artscow, I've been very impressed with... especially my free mouse pad with my own Sonic Frog embossed on it :-) If you have friended them, you should, because they're always posting specials... this past week, it was a deck of cards for 2.99 (shipping included), regular 7.99....
