laptop issues ugh!

I am without internet on my laptop...

I took it with me while i was house sitting and it wouldn't connect to the internet there and now I'm back home and it won't connect to the internet at home.

I seriously hate this laptop!!! My toshiba never had these issues...

It doesn't like me taking it places and trying to connect to the internet...its happened before when we switched providers and than time I think my internet explorer went bad or something.
I had a paper due today that I had to get my brother to drop his laptop off so I could email the paper to the professor. And I have a ton of online lecture stuff to do this week and of course I will be without a laptop for a few days....
so I went a whole week while house sitting without internet and now it looks to be a few more days...

buggers, right?

so sorry! I know how you feel- the kids broke my screen in mine- and ended up getting laptops the same damn week for school. I have a keyboard and monitor connected to mine just to use it.

AND my aircard reset on the 23, and I have only got a little over 1,000 MB left until the 23rd again... Microsoft had some major downloads they snuck in... I guesss- I really dont know what happened. but I will be with out internet for the rest of the month I reckon...

chelle,change your settings to: let me know when there are updates before I download them,something like that

Chelle...I would die if I was limited to how much time I could be on the internet.

I'm taking my brother's laptop hostage for a day or two, so I can get my online college classwork done.
This has happened before and i think it was Internet Explorer that was corrupt or something....
Luckily it runs perfectly fine and I was able to back up everything, but I just can't get it to connect to the internet. Hopefully it just needs to be started out fresh again and not some random thing that is broken... it doesn't cost me anything as long as it doesn't need parts...the benefits of having a laptop tech in the family!!! just wish it was something I could fix on my own...
