It's so quiet here today

Everyone busy? I'm getting ready to go to work. Gotta love Walmart and 4 hour shifts. Rain is coming for tonight and tomorrow, so I won't get the grass cut tomorrow. I should have gotten it done this morning. Guess I'll clean house and make zucchini bread tomorrow.

Fortunately I got the grass mowed, edged and swept yesterday... and right on que, our rain came this morning and it's been an all day event! Once again, I lucked out!

I went to my moms and went swimming it was 90 today and that is just too damn hot. I have no idea how you Southerners survive. I think I would die.

It got to 90 and very humid here today too. Actually it is still 80 now. The rain hasn't gotten here yet, they were saying it would be here by 8pm. It is still so muggy out that you could ring water out of the air.

we are about the same, the humidity sucks. You would think 90 would be great for drying clothes but it seems they get wetter hanging out there, lol.

You have no idean until you mow and edge in 90 degrees and equal amounts of humidity... but on the other hand, when you northerners ave 70 inches of snow accumulation, we wonder how you manage to survive !

It's hot here too, but I will NOT complain too much...I HATE HATE cold weather.I am right at home at 90-95 degrees.


I have been in "Panic Mode" for several days now. it is really bad today...my sister is having a c/section tomorrow, and well, I am not ready to take care of antoher kid, let alone a newborn. We will see though, she does have her own apt, and a job, albeit at Sonic. She is doing good so far, and staying away from drugs.......but how long will it last?

Anyway, I will have pics when i get home tomorrow....be ready, I am a proud Godmother....LOL

Oh Erin! I think I'd feel exactly the same way. I know you will love her baby, but it's so scary to think of someone having a baby when they are just barely in control of their lives. I wish her the best of luck staying clean. I can't imagine how hard it is.

Just busy here. I had a doctor's appointment yesterday and I'm booked in for some surgery next Thursday. That means I have to run around like mad the rest of this week and the beginning of next getting pre-op appointments done.

Nope, no cutting grass today. It has been pouring rain all day.
On a better note, I have fresh green beans cooking and the first batch of zucchini bread in the oven.

I have been off and on working- just differnt crap. Plus BR is home - his truck is broke down again. its killing me.

Today and tomorrow I am having a grage sale, and fighting the rain. We were starting to set up today, and the damn rain came in. just AWFUL! its stopped now, but I dont know for how long. I have about 800 peices of clothes to hang out. not sure how I will do it. We are putting them around a trampoline. We deicded to put two garage sales together, at a friends house, she has a garage, but I am in the yard. I would just say screw it, donate it all to goodwill and be done. BUT, I honestly need the money. LOL But if this stuff doesnt sell this time, I am just going to get rid of it.

The trampoline for hanfging clothes from is a great idea! Hope you clean up during the sale!
