Wish me luck. I'm about to do something stupid.

Zaven was supposed to go with a group to Cincinnati tonight and see Stomp! and spend the night. But they chickened out when it snowed a tiny bit. So when we went to pick Zaven up, we got three free tickets and we're going. It's a 2-1/2 hr. drive each way and the shows at 9. We're not going to spend the night, just drive back afterwards (hence the stupid). But it's $35 a ticket and I would love to see it (the only broadway show I ever had an urge to see) and I know that I would never just kick out $100 to go because that's a lot of money to spend for just a few hours of fun. So off we go.... wish us luck!

OMG have fun! You will LOVE it. I drove 6 1/2 hours to Dallas a while back, saw Cirque de soile with Bnut, and then drove straight back home............was glad to get home at 4 am....LOL.

Well, we made it there and back safely and had a wonderful time. I really enjoyed the show. Like I said, I would never have paid $100 to go see it, but it was well worth the effort for just the price of gas and $5 parking.

Everyone needs an adventure now and then. It takes spirit to do something so spontaneous, and you'll always remember it. It sounds like you had a great time and makes me want to find myself an adventure.

Stomp is amazing, we saw them last year. So glad you you got see them.
