I made it!

Through his first day of school! lol Timmy did well. We started his day with pancakes made by him and Daddy. Took a few pictures outside, and then headed to school. I was given the wrong start time, so we were early, but that is okay. He got to play at the playground and made a new friend. They played until it was time to start. Then we headed in. It was pure chaos. All the parents, all the kids.... screaming, crying.. and you should have seen the kids! hee hee

But we stayed for a little bit. They did a hello song, introduced everyone, and then it was potty time... I took that as my cue that it was time to leave. Besides Tim had to get some sleep and that was not possible staying at the school. When I went to pick him up 2 hours later, he wanted to go back to the playground, but knew that since it was starting to rain, he had to come home.

He was tired and crabby and insists that he doesn't want to go back to school, but I know he had fun. I got there early and was able to sneak peeks at him until he caught me, and he seemed to do okay.

Glad it went well! And it's better to be early than late -- dh is late for everything and we got there just in time for the kids to line up on Devon's first day I'm sure Timmy will have a great time once all the kids settle down and the parents don't stick around any more.

You made it past the hardest part, lol. Man, playgrounds sure are way cooler than they were when we were kids.

Congrats, Missy! Zoe hates getting up so early for school, but she's decided she likes it there. Hopefully, Timmy will like it, too.
