it's Friday night and obviously SOME people have a life :-)

DH is sleeping on the couch while "listening" to the news; I just got out of the shower after having mown the lawn; and that was after we went out for supper; which was after a busy afternoon/morning. Life just can't get any more exciting and I love it

I went to the grocery store,with NO KIDS......... yippee!!now that's my idea of an exciting friday night!

I'm off to work in 20 minutes on a holiday weekend -- beat that!

Hasn't new one just opened this weekend, or soon? DH and I watched it on TV maybe a week ago, commercials and all. Kind of fun... and I heard the sequel is actually more geared to adults... wonder if that's true... have you heard?

I don't know. Just watching the first one for the first time.

Well enjoy it Lucky... I sort of did, not just my genre of a movie... but it was entertaining. Give me a comic romance anyday, especially if Richard Gere or Mel Gibson is in it.


And with that ladies, I'm bidding you all a good night. 20/20 is on, DH is awake, and it's time for me to go poke him once in a while and keep him awake so he'll be able to sleep tonight when I"M tired and want to go to sleep

It's been a LONG crappy day. I'm enjoying the silence, the DVR broke, my dog is alive, and there are three little ones upstairs sleeping. They look so sweet when they are sleeping:) I was beginning to think it wasn't ever going to happen.

Went and picked a radio for the SO to bring to work, then did 8 loads of laundry at the laundrymat. Took about an hour and half, phew! After that, went grocery shopping, came home, hunney BBQ'd some steak. Mmm.. now we are just relaxing all nice and full.

okay, I am torn between asking/consoling about the dog and the DVR. (just kidding, we all know which is more important)

But I didnt know you were having problems with either one.

We had both our girls and their families tonight for a back yard bar-b-que. Had burgers and salads and rhubarb cobbler and brownies. Are going to watch a movie before bed. Was a beautiful day here in Idaho today.

Sounds like nice evenings all around. I went to bed with a book at 9.

I thought my dog was getting put to sleep yesterday, it's a long story. My mother paid a vet to come do it because her and my hubby thought it was time. The vet agreed with me and we decided NOT to do it. He's old but happy.

Then I turned on the tv pressed the dvr button and it started making very funky noises and kinda popped. Turned into 45 minutes on the phone with them again fighting with some poor smuck in India.

It was a hell of a day!

Oh Tara! I'm happy your vet sided with you. Why put a dog down because they are old if they are still reasonably healthy (not in pain, able to get around, enjoying life). I have never understood why some people do that. Do you have the protection plan on your DVR? I had a similar thing happen to mine last year, but we had the plan so replacement was free.

I am glad you were able to convince the vet!! we opted to not put duke down 7 months ago when they told us he would never walk again.

I just saw him out the window playing fetch. or rather keepaway from the kids. You will know when the time is right .

sorry about the DVR. I know how it feels. Its awful!!

Aww Tara - sounds like you had an awful day

Hubby and I ended up chilling out on the couch last night watching Untraceable and Dewey Cox.

Thanks everyone, I don't know if I have a protection plan but it's their equipment that screwed up AGAIN and they will be replacing it. They can not however give me back the recordings I yet to watch. I told her there was no way I was hanging up the phone happy unless she could manage to convince FOX to rerun mondays House. LOL I blogged about it- I was still mad I should go back and read it, it probably doesn't make any sense, lol. I was extremely unhappy to get some guy in India and complained to like 3 different people before I got someone here in the US to talk too. Then this morning while calm I wrote them a letter about there shoddy business practices and the idiots they hire, and their worthless equipment.

Oh and Saige had a few movies on there, she is quite sad they are gone Me too I PPV'ed them months ago and saved them... she watches them all the time. I guess we got our moneys worth there though.
