Happy News
Here's my happy news:
Quinn is talking more, and now he says "I love you" and "HAPPY!". The other day he wanted Scott to take him for a drive, and I asked him, "Do you want to go to the car with Daddy?" He grinned and said, "Car-car, yes! Car-car, go! Car-car, Da-da!"
So what's your happy news?

Re: Happy News
My son had chosen to eat a Quaker Simple Harvest bar over a cookie. That is a good sign!
Plus, my SO now has earned vacation days! He so needs a day or two OFF from work. He has been working nearly 50 hours a week since he started nearly a year ago. Sometimes as much as 80 hours a week! We sat down this morning and threw some ideas at each other as to when he could take some days off.

Re: Happy News
I got home from work, got a decent amount of sleep in, and managed to get through a meeting without falling asleep! LOL!

Re: Happy News
My mom just brought me a laptop, my early birthday gift. I'm thrilled but this mouse and condensed keyboard will take some getting use to. I want to go grab my mouse but I want to get use to it, I'm torn I like my wheel. LOL

Re: Happy News
Tara, get the cordless mouse. I promise, you will feel much more comfertable. And you will never get used to the keyboard. I aint. IT sucks! LOL
But the cordless mouse makes it worth while. And go to walgreens and get the laptop thingy thats kinda like a TV tray. MUCH better than sitting it on your lap, or on the arm of the couch! LOL
and I LOVE my laptop. Its nto fancy, and heavy as hell, I dont take it places, but its so nice to sit in the livng room on the couch and play on the puter

I called the lab at the denture place out of desperation... and Laney, the lab guy was in . he is never in on saturday he said.. but had something to do this morning
he fixed the denture that the surgeon ruined.. long story.. thats the basic
and
my daughter called to chat..
now off to Petsmart to buy Duncan a new collar for the wedding!

Re: Happy News
Oh I am SO relieved that you got that fixed! Can you chew now? Did it damage your mouth? Did you have to pay for the repairs?
Re: Happy News
Bow is pulling up. I am not sure thats happy news. I already miss the baby stage..
And he is flipping.. he sits in your lap facing you and he flips over backwards, landing on his feet. OF course you have to hold his hands.. But he squeals the whole time. Rayley used to do this too. And I swear I didnt teach it to them. They just LOVE to do it. LOL
But thats my news. Maybe I will win a door prize tonight so I will have happy news then
Y'all keep y'alls fingers crossed for me!

Re: Happy News
Wait, I don't remember the wrist. What happened? I'm sorry! I should know this, shouldn't I? I'm blaming my kids for this. It's all their fault that my brain doesn't work anymore.
