if anything, I've probably called getting the flu as just having a cold because there are probably a few times that I've had the flu, but just treated it like a cold...whatever meds I took and the days of sleeping seemed to fix whatever I had. But a cough and a runny/stuffed nose doesn't put you out of commission like the flu does.
