UGH!!!! KIDS!!!!!

I was texting with my 15 yr old niece tonight and she confided in me that her second ipod touch was stolen in school,after her first was stolen her mother(my sister) bought her this one for Christmas and told her not to take it to school any more.I am such a sucker,I love her and her sister and brother too much.I ordered it from amazon and at least I had about 130 dollars in codes,so I paid 95 dollars outta pocket.I hope she learns this time.She made two little thieves very happy!

She was on the verge of tears and of course her mother doesn't know about it.I asked her how it happened,she said in the laboratory they have to place their things at the end of the room.I guess it's because they have bunsen burners on and they're a fire hazzard

it's so true Lori! I raised these kids half the time because my sister worked full time even then.They used to call me their "second mommy" lol I AM a sucker though

You're so right Rebecca,but she swore to me that she'll never take it to school again.If she weren't such a good kid and a straight A student I don't know if I would have done it ;p . I'll scare her and tell her that if it's stolen again I'm not getting her another one,that outta do it lol

can I be your other niece? my phone heats up when I talk more than 10 minutes... Virgin tells me I need a new one, and Radio Shack (one of the carriers) is out of the phones under $30.... so please, won't you sent me one so I don't burn my ear?

all kiding aside, you are one special aunt... and I know how it is to love your niece or nephew... my greatest feeling I got was when my niece asked me to be her birthing coach (single mom)... and before babies, I would take her on ladies bus trips to Chicago or other places... her mom was wheelchair bound, so thought she would (and she did) enjoy doing "sudo-mom" stuff with her aunt... we loved when she would come spend a weekend with us... and to this day, and 9 kids later for her (yeah, really sad, isn't it; at least 3 baby daddys later I still love her and accept her)

She's sort of like Octo Mom.. addicted to having babies.

she gave the first one up for adoption; 1 was still born... after what I thought was her last (she was going to have her tubes tied, but didn't) she gave birth, to hopefully, please God, her last... but gasp, at 37, she's still fertile...
