For those with small kids, or who act like kids

Tuesday is Groundhog Day and on Noggin there will be the annual showing of the Jack's Big Music Show Groundhog's Day episode. It's the one with Jon Stewart as a newscaster from GNN (Groundhog News Network) and has the music video "I Hog The Ground" by Steve Burns (formerly of Blue's Clues) & Steven Drozd (of the Flaming Lips). This episode only comes on once a year and is a favorite of all my kids, including the teens.

Monday is Groundhog day, I SO wish I got Noggin for all the specials, no doubt we would all enjoy that.

Yep, Monday, not Tuesday, and I hope he sees or doesn't see whatever it is he needs to see or not see in order to make the cold weather go away!

Oops! We've been out of school for so long I'm no longer on any kind of a schedule. Yep, it's monday. And the hope is he won't see his shadow and we'll have an early spring.

Well, I thought I had missed it. I left to go pick up Zoe from preschool and while I was gone the power went out from another downed tree. I had it set to record, but with no power... But the power just came back on and it turns out it recorded just before we lost electric. I am so happy. I absolutely love the video for I Hog The Ground. It's so funny watching Steve from Blue's Clues (who is almost bald now!) teach all these preschoolers how to air gitaur and head bang.

We don't have Noggin.../ will have to see if maybe HULU or something like that has it.

You can zoom in on the video by holding down the control key while you use the scroll wheel on your mouse. It's also on youtube but the quality's not as good.
