So.. a bit of news..
I have to admit that I wasn't too thrilled or excited when my daughter told me once again she was pregnant. Especially after her miscarrying twice. I thought she should wait, not only because of her health and the health of the child she would be carrying, but also because of their financial situation.
However, there's nothing I can do or say to change any of that..despite what other people tell me to tell her or do about the situation, whatever anyone says or does will not make her do anything. There is no "right" thing to do or say that will change the situation. She's going to do whatever she does regardless of it all. She has to want to change it. So rather than focus on all of the negatives about the situation that I cannot change and give myself a nervous breakdown, I have just decided to concentrate on the baby.
I didnt announce it on here because I didn't know if she would get past the first tri-mester this time so I waited. Hopefully nothing goes wrong from this point. She had an ultrasound today and they are 95% sure it's a boy. She's due sometime in end of May beginning of June.

Re: So.. a bit of news..
So she's pregnant again? Hope things go well this time and the baby makes her realize it's time to turn her life around.
Re: So.. a bit of news..
You and me both Rebecca.
So, I guess it's Issac Daniel..if the Dr's are right and it's a boy..but she has a back up name for a girl just in case the Dr's are wrong (I've seen it happen before even with all of the fancy ultrasounds they have now) if they are wrong ..the girls name she has picked out is Zoey Lynn

Re: So.. a bit of news..
So she is at least 12-14 weeks, and really past the "danger" point? Thats good, maybe this will wake her up and make her realize the world doesn't revolve around her boyfriend.
I agree wbout the ultrasound, unless it is 3d, they really cannot be 100% sure.

Re: So.. a bit of news..
I agree Erin..I think that the baby will make her realize the world does not revolve around Dan. About the first time or two once the baby is born that he puts his wants before that baby..she'll get angry..and her disillusionment of him will start to fade and she'll start to see things for what they are and eventually see the person she's become by trying to please him... I am just going to concern myself with my grandchild and be a voice for him/her.

Re: So.. a bit of news..
I love both names too..actually everyone on both sides of the family like both names. Wynonna is dead set on Issac..Dan likes it more than any other boy names they have considered..so hopefully he sticks with it.. More than likely it won't be a girl, but if they were mistaken and it is, I love the name Zoey too.. I'm so glad they are picking names that aren't "trend" names. I like the name Brittany and Chelsea, but the year I had Wynonna, EVERYBODY was naming their girls Brittany and Chelsea. IN every one of my kids classes when they went to school there were atleast two or three Brittanys and Chelseas in every classroom. It seems like each year you have the "trend" names for that year..I was worried they might want one of those names, but suprisingly they didn't which is good..

I also love Isaiah for a boy,I guess it's because it's also biblical, but I also love the way it sounds

Re: So.. a bit of news..
Its just been a transitional time..but things are much better now. My daughter and her bf have been going to counseling regularly for a long time now and hes now working and they're moving into their own apartment this weekend.. As it is right now they are set for quite a while for baby stuff..so by the time they need to start getting stuff they should be able to have set some $$ aside to get what they need. Things are looking much better right now..
