So who went shopping?

I didn't Black Friday no longer means anything to me... if you did, what kind of deals did you snag? Or maybe it was today... since black Friday seems to continue on to Sat.

I did go to JCPenny's today, just to look, busy, but didn't buy anything, and if I did, it would be for me since our shopping is mainly gift cards and a couple of items we purchse from the internet...

But always enjoy hearing about other people's bargains....

I don't shop Black Friday. I did some painting, finally getting around to painting the livingroom and hallway.

No shopping for me. We got a nice little snow storm, so I didn't even leave the house. I'm uninspired right now anyhow. I didn't want to shop just for the sake of doing it. I may go to Grand Rapids, stay overnight at my son's place and do some shopping in the big city.

If it was a pm thru here, but address I used to use is no longer available to me... had some problems, and went thru so much with hotmail, that I just gave up.. I'm pretty sure I pm Rebecca and asked her to change my contact email to email.

LOL I can so totally relate to your not wanting to shop on top of a snow drop. When we lived in Cedar Springs, I would always be so excited about Black Friday (althought not sure it was called than back "then") and having Friday off from work, and end up staying home.

That's when I took to doing my major Christmas shopping, in February.... especially at Kohls, who had great winter clearance sales.

Yep, I got your response. If you look up at the top of the page now and again you may see New PM instead of just PM. I also get a pop up when I log in here if I have a PM, but you may have that disabled. You can check by clicking on Profile (up top) and then Preferences, and look for "Display a pop-up window on new private messages".

We went to lunch, Home depot, and Boat shopping...it was COLD and raining, but he insisted on looking at new boats. Not sure, but I really think the awesome deal was so the salesman could be done with us....

OMG, went thru my preferences and most were checked No, have since change and now see New PM and expect that any future ones will come thru my gmail addy.

Since I had to take BR to his rig at 2am anyway, I went ahead and drove to walmart. Needed a portable DVD player that went on sale at 5am. Fiqured I'd look around and see what else was there till then. Come to find out, They were not guardin the DVD players, and we could buy them at anytime- the price was already in the system. around 4 - But I did want some of the SD cards. Stood beside them for 30 minutes, because they DID have a guard. (go fiqure) - and he wouldnt let them go until 5am. THEN at like 4:45 I realized it said SDHC- I looked it up on my phone and they wouldnt work in any of my SD places. Pissed me off SOO bad.

I am also glad I wasnt even trying for the computer or TV's. They gave out tickets between 3 and 4. and although i was there, I wouldnt have been in line. lots of folks showed up at 4- 4:30 for the electronic stuff and didnt even get a chance.

and at midnight they had to call the cops and have some folks arrested cause they were fighting over the 1.98 towells.

Yep, we need a new one, and this is the time of year to buy a boat. This boat, specifically, but not blue....our color is "raspberry", and not the price listed either, we got it way cheaper, with a bigger motor.
