One dog (a blue heeler/border collie mix), oodles of cats. And day old kittens! Two in the litter. Caly's having the best time worrying about them and spoiling their mama.

Re: Pets -- How many and what kind?
Currently only have one "fur Kid' a 7 year old Bichon names Q_tip. We didn't have the pleasure of picking a name for him- we got him as a "rescue".
We have always had poodles before and sadly both went to the Rainbow Bridge about a week apart. Am allergic to cats so thats out. Have had birs, but our last cocktiel was like a bird possessed. He was a "rescue" too and he had been too mistreated .
Oh, I forgot about our goats. We bought a goat when our youngest was born as thats the only milk she could take- not enven formula. Then our nanny had triplets and din't want anything to do with them. So in they came in winter in a huge box and around the clock feedings began. We did find homes for all of them thoough- with the condition they could not be eaten!

Re: Pets -- How many and what kind?
We have 2 goldish that are 3 years old now.
1 dilute calico cat with extra toes named Rosie who will be 8 in June. She was an orphan that I got at 6 weeks old -- she was in such a terrible state when I got her that I never would have imagined her living this long!
1 dog. A border collie named Odin who is 1 1/2 years old now. We got him last summer from a couple who had to move into an apartment. He was 11 months old at the time and they knew that wasn't the right place for him.

Do you mean Bengal cats as in the ones that are part wild cat? Those are so cool looking! I've never met one though.
Re: Pets -- How many and what kind?
Aww I really love pets but right now I don't want any since I am worried that I won't have enough time taking care of them..

Re: Pets -- How many and what kind?
3 feline furballs here:
Muggins is 12, adopted in Newfoundland - he was my carry on luggage when flying back from friend's wedding in 1996
Bill is 14, adopted from humane society 5 years ago
Ben is 16 or 17, adopted from humane society almost 2 years ago
Planning to get an aquarium up and running again shortly ...... still trying to decide what kind of fish to get this time around!

Re: Pets -- How many and what kind?
Rebecca-She is strong as an ox, very much a puppy, but the sweetest thing on earth! LOL! We finally had to resort to a pinch collar (believe me, this was a hard choice!), but we just couldn't walk her without it (she walked us!). We tried a harness first, and that worked for about a month, until she realized she could just back out of it! LOL! That's what we get for having a smart puppy!
