Update on my pets
Right now it's all good news -- fingers crossed that it stays that way!
Rosie (my 8 year old calico cat for all the newbies!) has a few more doses of the antibiotic to go. I'm anxious to see how she does when she's finished the meds, but right now she looks like she's going to pull through! I really think we would have lost her if we didn't start the meds when we did so I feel very fortunate to have had her acting like her old self today.
Odin (my 1 1/2 year old border collie for all the newbies) just graduated grade two obedience tonight. He doesn't really need obedience -- he's actually pretty well behaved -- but it's a few hours out for me without the kids every week! Our next class will be beginner agility in the summer if they have it at a convenient time. That should be fun!
So, all is good right now. Hopefully it will stay that way once Rosie is finished her antibiotics!

That is great news rebecca!!
And I am glad that odin is behaving!
I have always wanted to have an obidiant dog. But BR has always told me that I had to be smarter than the dog.
So I gave up.
duke only listens to treats..
and a squeaky toy.. LOL

I am glad to hear that Rosie is doing better. What would we all do without our furry kids?

Re: Update on my pets
That is very good news Rebecca! I know exactly what you've been going through as I've just recently been through a bad patch with one my feline furboys - 14 year old Bill. Things were looking pretty grim there for about a week and I was prepared to "do the right thing" which, after several tests, thankfully turned out to be a course of 2 medications over about a month. He's now back to his usual delightful self!
