Re: Happy Birthday Tara!!!
It was okay, I spent the day cleaning my house... really cleaning it. It was slow going, my stitches are still sore and driving my nuts. But, it was nice when I finished.
Hubby had to work : ( Saige has a friend over for her first sleepover that wasn't a relative or one of my "other"kids. They will not go bed, they are up above me squealing and laughing. I guess that is the fun of sleep overs. It worked out nice too, the kids all played outside for most of the night and all got along and were well behaved. Whether
My mom and dad brought me dinner and ice cream cake and gifts... I'm typing on my new laptop : ) I so needed a new one and I couldn't afford one so it is very much appreciated oh and I got some new sandals that are super comfy.

Re: Happy Birthday Tara!!!
Yes my parents give me awesome gifts : ) They say it's because they couldn't afford it while we were little. I think it's partially because my mother knows my husband wont get me anything. He is just not a good gift giver... I came to terms with that years ago. I could give him money and send him to the store but chances are good he will come back 4 hours later overwhelmed and empty handed.
I very much appreciate it, while we are not poor we do have a very tight budget. Choosing to stay home and raise your children is for the most part unappreciated and the pay really sucks, lol.
The friend made it through the night, they were up until 11 and back up at 5:30 but they are good so I wont complain. I'm taking mine to the drive in tonight to see Alice in Wonderland, I imagine Saige will be asleep before we even get there. There is no way she will make it through the whole thing unless she naps. I love going to the drive in but I hate that they start so late, it doesn't get dark until 9 and in the summer it's even later.
I don't mind housework..... my only complaint is outside- I ran over something (of hubby's) and killed my lawn mower half way through the lawn last week. Really killed it too, cracked the deck and broke the blade. He's going to try to weld it, I hope it works or it will be a long hot summer of pushing. Not that I mind the pushmower but with two little ones and endless activities it is very hard to find the time to get the entire thing
done.
The stitches are from skin biopsies. A few in my back and a few in my upper inner thigh, really a bad spot for stitches, lol. I think I would be fine by now if they were there.... but they pull and ache with every move. The one on my leg just looks painful, its rainbow colored from the bruises... surrounded by other little bruises (from the needle they numbed it with- I am VERY sensitive to needles) and I just can't seem to be comfortable, no matter what I do. I still have them for 10 more days : ( I would prefer to just be superglued back together.... because even after the wounds stop hurting the stitches still will when I stretch or move.
The dr did not believe me when I told him I would bruise from the novicaine.....they are smaller than normal but still there. I gave birth to two kids without drugs and the worst part was the IV because they turn my whole arm black and blue and ache for weeks afterwards, lol.

Re: Happy Birthday Tara!!!
Hope you get to feeling back to normal soon. Great B-day gift...that's awesome Sorry to hear about the mower, that sucks. We just had to buy a riding lawn mower and a push mower. When we lived out by mom and dad's dad used to mow my lawn, he enjoys being outside and it's something he can still do. Now we moved here and still have a big lawn we needed to get our own. We had to buy it on credit card for now. We'll pay it off when we get our taxes back. Hope he's able to repair it....Glad to hear you had a good birthday.
