Brother takes in a friend...
My brother lives downstairs from me. One night,a few days ago I find out a friend of his is staying over,I thought nothing of it. Almost a week later he's still here,so I asked Niko when his friend was out, what is going on. He tells me that he has no place to stay and he and his doggie will be here for a while. She's a cute cocker spaniel but really chubby, she eats almost 24/7 lol ,but at least she and rocco get along really well.
He does construction of all types and told us he will do a lot of work on the house (sanding floors etc).Did I mention he also does porno movies?? lol What do you all think?? I mean I feel bad for the guy,but what would you guys do??

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
Is the porno industry suffering, too? I had no idea! Seriously, it sounds like he's willing to work and not be a freeloader. So as long as your brother is ok with it everything should work out.

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
As long as there are no drugs involoved, and he is paying his own way, I wouldntmind helping someone who is down on their luck.
OH and as long as I didnt end up in a porno... LOL

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
I agree, as long as he pays his way, then let him stay. I am guessing your brother pays his share of bills/rent? You could also assign some duties....and make sure there aren't any cameras

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
Lmao you girls are too funny. He lost his regular job which led to him making another porno and that is why his girlfriend of 8 yrs kicked him out.I'm sure they are low budget pornos ,he has a nice muscular body but he has a thick puerto rican accent and he mumbles lol

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
So does he "make" the videos or star in them? Or both? In any case, I don't think dialogue is all that important if men are his target audience.

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
I think we're losing site of what's important -- he's a muscular Latino -- sounds like a great tenant to me!
In all honesty I think I'd be ok with it as long as his share of the rent and bills are being paid.

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
I'm thinking this is very exciting... a porn star living below me.... unfortunately other than power washing the deck and sidewalk/driveway, I don't have any worth while jobs to bring him to me

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
I think the thing that matters is if YOU are comfortable, not if we'd be comfortable. I've opened my home to people before and it's usually worked out, but those were very short term arrangements.
What are your exact arrangements with your brother? Is he living in your basement and paying rent? bumming a room in your house? or just has the apartment below yours? And will your utilities or food expenses go up because of the extra person? If you are out extra money because of his staying there, I'd at least sit down and talk with everyone involved to make sure that he really will be helping out and is qualified, not just willing.
For me, a man who knows how to fix things around the house has a real appeal even if he looks like the hunchback of Notre Dame. If he's sexy on top of that, all the better.

Re: Brother takes in a friend...
you're right karen,we don't pay rent because this is our families home.we just pay taxes, water, electricity. I just hope it works out that's all,I have no idea how long he is going to stay,I think that's what bothers me.Well if he does the work he promises I'll be happy ,meaning we buy the supplies and he does the work for free or a very good price
