Anyone Ever Bought Wallpaper Online?
From Steve's (http://www.stevesblindsandwallpaper.com) to be exact. They have a 1950s diner style wallpaper and border that I think would be really cute in my kitchen. It would definately be cuter than the early 1990s flower border and dusty rose paint that is still here from the previous owners!
The only wallpaper I've ever put up before was a small border so I'm a bit nervous about doing it at all, let alone ordering it from the US and hoping I still like it when it gets here! Anyone ever ordered from them or visited their store in person before? If so, how was it?

I actually think I have ordered online. They make sure the dye lots are the same etc.
Funny to find this post, I have 3 wallpaper books here that I just picked up today. We're considering wallpaper for a stairway that really just needs "something".

I would be leery... only because colors on my computer don't always turn out to be true... my only experience is from ordering clothes on line and how surprised I've been at the actual color vs the one I see on screen...

If you can look through books in your area stores, the paper will almost always be cheaper online. I'm hiring our local paint and wallpaper store to do the work for us. They'll do a much better job than we ever could.
Let's see if this link works...this is what I'm having the stairway papered in.

Re: Anyone Ever Bought Wallpaper Online?
Nice Lori!
Karen, I can order a sample from them, but samples are $5 each. I can see why they need to do that, but still -- OUCH!
I think I'm going to go to the local store to see if they have the book there so I can see it in person. I haven't had too many big surprises colour-wise when ordering things online in the past, but I know that's always a risk with any catologue order.
This is the wallpaper I'm looking at http://www.stevesblindsandwallpaper.com/Wallpaper/ProductDetailPricing.aspx?pn=X9JEWRB&ctg=1272
And this is the border that goes with it http://www.stevesblindsandwallpaper.com/Wallpaper/ProductDetailPricing.aspx?pn=X9JE779B&ctg=1272#
Definately something kind of different and fun, but I think with my tiny little kitchen in my 1950s bungalow I can get away with it.
