Blue Nail Polish?
Last time I was in Walgreen's I stood at the wall o' cosmetics and was browsing nail polish. I was very much attracted to the blue/turquoise shades. Has anyone tried the blue colors? If so, do you have a favorite shade/brand? Sally Hansen had some nice looking colors. I was looking at the mid-range blues more than the very dark shades that look black when you first see them.
I also saw a new type of Sally Hansen polish on my way out. They looked metallic. They were ina separate display sort of like how they displayed the Cover Girl Outlast Lipstain when it first came out. I'm gonna see if I can find out what that was called and look up reviews for that, too.

Re: Blue Nail Polish?
Lori, if you buy a blue nail polish, and apply, take a picture of your hands and post it... I too see colors -- in stores and worn by (sadly mostly youngins).... I love experimenting... but also like to pick a color that goes with anything I might wear over the next 10 days (which is about how often I change polish)

I love Sally Hansen chrome polishes, even the blue, it's more silver than blue though.

Re: Blue Nail Polish?
Caly wears any color that strikes her and it looks good. I tend to bite my nails so I don't usually do anything to draw attention to them.
Re: Blue Nail Polish?
Bayley also wears any color, blue, black, neon green, orange, you name it.
I had a fave, and they stopped making it, so I don't wear any....it was Urban Decay, and the color was called "roach", a kinda reddish brown, LOVED it.

Tara, I bought the blue chrome today. Also bought red and I think I might try that one first. I'll let you know how I like them!

I put the red on - I love it! It dried so fast, too!

Re: Blue Nail Polish?
I can't believe I didn't mention that- it's the best part, it dries fast and it really dries, not tacky or sticky. It tends to chip on me easily though but so does EVERY polish.

But do you use a good top coat?

Karen, I used to be a nail biter... and I now I have seasonal nails... summer nails are usually scrub, rough, short... but for whatever reason, my nails this winter haven't take a turn for the worse... fray, rip, rough, and am keeping them short... but doesn't stop me from wearing a dark burgandy... actually shot nails are IN... so don't be shy about colors.
