Some of those do look nice. I like the semi-homemade type of foods. For example, cake mixes are so good, easy and cheap now. I can't see where it's worth the extra bother to start from scratch. But you do have to watch out for higher fat, sodium, or sugar if you're using anything pre-packaged. That's the down side.

I made the very last recipe that's listed...waaay down at the bottom of the page. It's either a breakfast or dessert called Pear Havarti Crepe Squares. It is really good! DH thought it was not sweet enough even when I dusted it lightly with powdered sugar and drizzled some melted raspberry jam on it. He went back to the kitchen and added more powdered sugar. I loved it and had some this morning without any added sugar and it was so good. The only sweetness comes from the pear, but with a cup of black coffee...so good!

If you decide to make it, you only need about 1/4 lb of havarti cheese. I thought 1/3 lb. was too much.
