Been busy today, went off shopping and came home and gave DH a bag and said "there your shopping is done!" We bought some sweats online for him this morning, which is one my presents to him, and he asked me to please buy what I wanted for me and he'd wrap (or in his case, gift bag LOL)... so got some clothes for yoga--pants, jacket, long sleeve tops).

Then after coming home, decided it's time to put up the decorations (for you gals who gave me so much support in my downer Christmas attitude, I'm back and looking forward to Christmas!). I went into the attic and DH stood below and took bags & boxes from me... put all that out around the house, but realized I didn't have some of my lighted ceramic decos... so will go back up tomorrow and claim those. Did very few outside decos... no lights this year, just ribbons and a few accessories.

But it is looking a little bit more like Christmas... so when Nephew & family come the 18th, it'll be festive, and when we have neighbors over for Christmas Eve dinner, it will look nice.

Next up on my list is to do some baking... but will need to put that off for another week, as some things don't hold well.

As for my subject line, I did not put up a tree, just a couple of minis, nothing more than table top.

Life is good again I love you

That's great, Dee!

I've got all my shopping done, too. I've got a few outside lights but other than that I haven't decorated. I decided to get the house as clean as I could before we started, so Zaven and I spent the weekend cleaning. We've got it all done but the bedrooms, but I'd like to get those done too. I'm hoping to get the tree either during the week, or more likely next weekend.

I havent got my tree up either. for one, there is NO place to put it. Literly. Unless I move out my chair or BR's. then where would I put them- the yard?? LOL

But I also cant keep the house clean, I clean and scrub daily, but noone would ever know it. and I refuse to put up a tree with mess around me. Its just one of those things.

maybe this week. maybe...

I have the tree up, but I took all the ornaments off earlier, after Xman turned it over and broke 3. I will let Bay redo it when she comes home. No shopping here yet, probably the weekend before as usual....dh ad I both hate shopping, so we put it off as long as possible.

Shopping is so easy for me this year.... DD was going to take the two youngins to Target as they wanted to take pictures of 'stuff' they wanted... but a violin recital cancelced that... so suggested GC for the little ones, well the teen already told me $$$ and SIL... well he's easy... check!

Going to St. Louis for Christmas and will take GC to O'charley's and Applebee's for the adult niece & nephews, McDonald's for the 17 greats. Home baked goodies for two neighbors, Wine Country Gift Baskets for Sis and WI friend. No St Louis GC will be purchased until about 2 days before we go, cuz I told DH that if there's snow in the forecast, we aint going (I'm become my mother in regards to driving highways in anything other than a light mist or rain! Oh one other gift... nephew & wife coming down from MI on their way to FL, will get a huge Xmas bag of snacks.... for the boys on the trip and for when they're in FL... and of course I did shop for my own gifts, and hubby ordered stuff online he wants... so it's a snap! LOL santa
