Lettuce All Take A Deep Breath

For those that have planted a garden this passed year, how was your harvest?

For those that have given a hug to a loved one, and could feel it back, did you enjoy?



You bet ya!

I did both! My garden was only a tiny harvest. But I am happy with that as I don't like to can veggies. Too hot in the summer.

My hugs today were wonderful ones from my children and my husband. I was just reading bed time stories with them. So very happy.

I have tomatoes coming out of my ears, and I only planted 5 plants!
I don't can them either, I freeze them whole in Ziplocs, and use as needed in sauces and soups.

I am not hugging any of the germ factories in this house....everyone is coughing or sneezing, or something worse.

My patio tomato plant yielded 5 tomatoes. 1 the birds ate, 2 we got first (too sweet and too tuff skins) the other 2 smaller than grape tomatoes and ugly :-( Just an experiment... will just utilize our local farmers market next year

And hugs, got those and enjoyed too. Had a very nice lunch with my 2 dearest friends, one who is moving 3 hours away... so before and after lunch, lots of hugs, and tears

JJ and dad planted a garden this year.. We can't seem to keep up with eating the cucumbers..we have been eating, giving them away..even though we started getting frost in the morning the last few days, we covered them and they will still go a little longer. Tomatoes weren't as plentiful this year though. We had string beans, beets, peas, and carrots up the wazoo for a while earlier and funny, the green peppers still have not produced peppers, the plants look great, but no peppers, just weird..

I had broccoli out my ears, still have a few plants going. Lettuce and greenbeans all summer long. Fresh dill and chives. I realy didn't think my tomatoes were going to make it, but I was wrong and we are swimming in them now. I did plant cucumbers but they didn't do anything, I have two little weird deformed cukes and that is it. I've been rolling in squashes of all varieties for two months now and didn't grow a single one.

Hugs from my man and my babies, and sloppy kisses from them all and teh puppy too!
