just put a deposit on a puppy

I am so excited. we have been talking about getting a puppy for a while now and we finally decided to get our daughter a shih tzu for christmas/birthday. We really wanted to get a rescue dog but the more I searched online the more and more puppy mills I was finding and the shih tzu rescues were mostly older dogs and I think my daughter needs a puppy. The puppy's are due in october and will be ready to come home on or near christmas. At least I have a few months to puppy proof our house.

Congrats! Puppies are so much fun... and work, lol, but the cuteness makes up for it.

i know they already told me that I will have to get up twice during the night to walk the pup. It will be a lot of work but so worth it. I am so excited for my little girl. I will keep everyone posted

That's great! And I'm glad you're getting it from a trusted breeder. Puppy mills are scary.
