I hit the Ebay jackpot!
Ok.... I know I am pathetic and it's not that exciting but...
Hubby is redoing the kitchen and building us cabinets. When all is done we will have 12 drawers and I have been looking for hardware... slides for them. I couldn't believe how much these things cost! Lowes here only carries to 18 inch one and they are cheapy crappy ones. Shipping from ebay is ridiculous some idiots wants $15 to ship ONE set, almost a $100 for lots of 10. Nice ones are really expensive when you factor in needing 12 of them.
I just bought 10 pair for $59 with shipping. They are heavy duty ball bearing SELF CLOSING ones
I'm stoked. I thought I was paying at LEAST $300 for plain old slides in the size I need. self closing ones? I feel like I stole them

Yay, Tara!
I know that feeling well! When we built, I got every single bathroom accessory on ebay. I made out like a bandit. Each set was towel bar, tp holder and towel ring. Oddly enough, the set I got the cheapest ($9.99 or something!) is my favorite, and it's in the master bath.

That's awesome!
I am having some of my bottom cabinets ripped out, and drawers put in, and the slides ARE expensive!

I would be soooo excited. That's awesome. I want self closing stuff! Scott leaves everything open all the time so there's no room to even move around. Plus I must hit my head on a cabinet door at least twice a year because of that.
Re: I hit the Ebay jackpot!

Re: I hit the Ebay jackpot!
I did do mypoints 4 points on the $1 so an easy couple hundred points
Karen- you actually have to start them but just a little nudge and they close all the way without slamming. I am sure they will be fine for my kids who at least make half an effort, the large one I am not too convinced about remembering to give that little nudge. We have lived in this house for 5 years now and he still can't find the bright green laundry basket that hasn't moved.
