Some summer fun photos!
Yesterday we went to the campground where my inlaws keep their motorhome. The kids were both really wanting to go swimming in an actual pool (we only have a kiddie pool here). Well Ceilidh wanted to only swim with water wings (and a pool noodle), so we gave Zach her lifejacket this year. Here are the pictures of how it all turned out.
Ceilidh was great! She had a blast!
Zach, not so much. LOL
And just one because I love this picture. I have been having fun learning to use the different features of my camera (only had the camera since Christmas so it's about time I learned how to use it more, LOL). This was taken with the colour accent feature.
Thanks for looking!

Those are beautiful! Her face is healing so well, too. It's nice to see that she wasn't nervous to get it wet. Poor Zach, though. I hope he relaxed and enjoyed it eventually.

Thanks! Her face is healing great! I am so glad to have my happy, smily girl back again! The only time her face bothers her is when I have to massage it (which is at least once a day).
The only time Zach was happy was when I was holding him. LOL. He was over-tired at that point, so I'm hoping that next time it will go much smoother. I don't want him being afraid of the water!

Re: Some summer fun photos!
Zach's picture is priceless. It reminds me of having to bribe my youngest to get in the water when he was small. I think we made a deal that if he gave it a chance I'd read him two "Bed Night Stories" rather than one.

Re: Some summer fun photos!
I must try the bribing thing. LOL. He likes being in the water, but only if I'm actually carrying him. He would actually let me hold him away from me and "stand him up" in the water for a few seconds. He was like that to a certain extent last year, but not nearly as bad. He would try to swim for a bit last year before he would want up. I'm really hoping because it was the first time in a pool this season he was more nervous, but will get better each time.
