Where did the year go?

We have almost a whole month left, I think the 25th of 26th is our last day.

I am dreading Kindergarten, my baby will be gone all day. Rylan is SO much better with her around, I am considering hiding him in her book bag, lol.

I agree...where did the time go? My "baby" graduated from high school on Sunday. This one never got to go through preschool graduation because he got chicken pox immediately after his brother came down with it (remember the end-of-the-year class trip episode where all DS could do was complain about his feet hurting? LOL).

You have a long school year, Tara! Our kids usually finish up around June 8th unless they have to make up snow days. We usually have enough of them built into the school year, though.

Is your kindergarten all day? I like that a lot.

I just realized that had Wynonna not stayed back in 4th grade she would have been graduating high school this year....next year will be her graduation and then Jaysons(JJs) the year after that..it will be a little sad for me

Yes all day Kindergarten : ( We start the first or second week of Sept. and then factor in all the vacations and allow time for snowdays (that usually just get added to spring break if they aren't used, but that doesn't often happen) and they get their required 180 days.

Wow, she was just a little kid, now going to Kindergarten!


I have never been so happy as when Kristin graduated, and I cannot wait for Bay to get done and get the hell out of my house! Let's see, we have 6 years left...woohoo

Graduation was fun. There was a song and they read a story out loud while they held up drawings they'd made of the story. When Zoe got her diploma she took a bow. It was so cute. They had a party afterwards, but we didn't stay long because Quinn was running everywhere.

Our kindergarten is all day, too. In a way I really hate that. I know it helps some kids, especially those who'd be in daycare. But for us it means that I won't get to spend much alone time with her during the week. Our afternoons are always filled with homework and Zaven and Caly's afterschool activities so I'll kind of miss her. Plus Quinn will miss her a lot.
