This morning I helped DH's aunt and uncle do some gardening, they are older. I SO enjoy getting my hands dirty and playing in the dirt. we are planting Heirloom tomatoes, 16 varieties, 1100 ish plants, they have a huge yard. YUMMY
Then I came home, and I have CABINETS! WOOHOOO, bounce we are in the home stretch.

So now locking my keys in the car this morning, with it running does not bother me. drunken

I can't believe you can plant tomatoes already there! I can just see a few asters poking through my garden now!
Congrats on the cabinets -- you'll be out of that trailer in no time now! I've done that with my keys before too. It's a great way to feel like a moron!

That's great Erin!
I lock my cars in the car... a lot
I've got daffodil and tulip buds but that is it so far. Although I doubt any of my othe flower beds survived the mole invasion. I will start the veggies this week but they will be inside at least until the 3rd week of May.

WOW, we usually plant on Good friday, but they are older and bored, so we plant this week....

Edited to add:

All IS NOT right with the world. I hate the cabinets, they do not match, the doors are weird. The doors all open the same direction, instead of opposite, strange, and the doors are not big enough. I think I got someone elses cabinets, i really do......

I am lucky now. with my keys that is.

1. I have a key fob. I aLWAYS leave a key in the ignition. PERIOD. tote my key fob.

2. I have a keyless entry. I use it almost all the time.

3. The ONLY way to lock my truck is either a. with the key fob, or b. with the key OUT of the ignition. You cant hit the lock button on the door and lock it if there is a key in the ignition.

Its saved me hundreds of times. (that and the key fob)

That said. I have locked my keys in my old truck, running.
Locked them in my truck in the rain wth an infant and a toddler. and used to have to call the cops at least once a month to unlock me before kids. LOL They no longer do it.

I even was 'thisclose' to breaking out a window the day BR and I had to get our engagement pictures taken. But the sherrif finnished his call and got to my house as I was picking up the rock. He came down the road honking cause he saw what I was doing. LOL

Then I got smart. and I put no less than 5 keys under my truck. HONEST. they are still there. My kids were playing under and around it the other day and brought me one of them in. LOL

And abuot 6 months ago, I locked them in my SIL's truck. while we were an hour from home, and she was SPACED OUT, on valume and xanex, from a dentist appt.

Luckily the Indians arent like the local cops and had a slim jim. They got us in there.

All the doors open the same direction?? How are you supposed to get big things in and out? That's just messed up.

I used to lock my keys up all the time. But I don't anymore. I don't know how I did it, but I just kind of quit doing that. It may be the one area of my life in which I've improved over time. Cause most things I'm definitely letting slide over here.

I don't get it either. I was supposed to have Drawers on the bottom, not doors, someone screwed up. Half of the bottom cabinet doors are too small to get a pot inside of them, and forget abot my 13 inch skillet...........LOL. I am grabbing me a cabinet guy today, while dh is not here. He wants to Settle, I disagree.
\

I have locked my keys in the car 3 times in the last few weeks. My other car was impossible, it would not lock if the key fob was within so many feet of the car, and certainly not with it in the ignition. This car, my old one, it doesn't care...it hates me. I refuse to buy a new one however, I can't afford it right now, and this car is still good, runs good, drives good....It's a honda, you cca't kill them.

The one place you don't want to settle is your kitchen cabinets. You'll regret it 3 times a day if you do.
