Weird giant moths
So these HUGE Moths have been hanging out here, on the garage mostly, but a few in my plants. They aren't supposed to even be in this area, supposedly killed off sometime ago. They are "luna Moths", and have a wingspan of 4-10 inches.....kinda freaky when they are all flying around.

Re: Weird giant moths
I have them too erin. Matter of fact, my kids brought in a few last night to give the chicks. LOL Its hillarious seein one chick run around being chased by 17 others with a moth almost as big as she is.
Re: Weird giant moths
LOL, Chelle. I've seen Luna Moths, but not around here. They are beautiful and eerie, too.
Re: Weird giant moths
Bring moths into the house for the chicks is my kids newest 'thing'. (at least they are not disusting, rabid, dead, or harmful....)
I do draw the line at my catabla (sp) worm moths. I cant remember when they start to hatch, but they are NOT allowed to feed them to the chickens! LOL
I also get some here that look just like that, but with out the 'eyes' and no dectrative scroll work around the edges of the wings... But they are still big and green.
