Show off...

Well, i finally got around to taking a pic of the new truck! So, here it is!!



A 2001 Ford Explorer Sport- 4 WD and gets great gas! We had it in 4WD for 120 miles driving in the blizzard during the holidays and still had more than half a tank of gas. Plus, after filling back up, we were able to drive about 250 before we filled up again, and we weren't even on E. That was a big concern of ours with getting it. It has a sunroof, 6 CD changer, a thing for the backseat to control thier own heat and the volume of the radio. It is only 2 doors, but Timmy being older makes things easy for the in and outs. It does have a keyless entry. Black leather interior, but we will be buying covers with our tax check. I am so in love with this thing. I have not been this happy with a vehicle since we got our Saturn when I was pregnant. Sadly, Tim was in a horrific car accident with that right after Timmy's first birthday. But anyways, I love it! :-)

Very nice! I'm glad you got something that you like and that's good on gas! We have a Ford Escape (2007) and it sounds like you get much better mileage than us!

Very kewl! I bought a Toyota FJ Cruiser a few months ago and it kicks! This is certainly the time to buy a car. vroom! vroom!

Does it have 4 wd on the fly? Thats the think I like most about my truck, no getting out to lock in the hubs! BR's doesnt have it on the fly an it drives me crazy!

Glad you like it. I had an 01 Explorer, but the Eddie Bauer edition, I LOVED it. I am thinking of getting another SUV, not anytime soon though

Oh yeah, all I do is turn a little knob and there I go. No in and out of the truck.

I messed up today though. It's been cloudy and yucky, so I turned the lights on when I was on the street. Took Timmy to school, went to the store and got groceries and came home. I was home for an hour and went to leave to put gas in the car before I went to get Timmy, but it wouldn't start. I forgot to turn the lights off. Oops!! Luckily, my neighbor borrowed her Dad's truck from work and came to jump us. I got it done in time to still put gas in before I picked the kiddo up. But I was so mad and upset at myself I was in tears. Just one more thing for me to double check is off. I guess it doesn't ding when you open the door when the lights are on.

But thank you all!! I am lucky that the truck gets good mileage. I just wish the gas prices wouldn't start raising back up. Nearing $2 a gallon again.

oh no missy!! I did that once in my 94 truck! it didnt have a dinger... LOL

I am lucky Ihave those automatic lights. The only time I have to turn them on is in a funeral.
