So Kelly, how did it go with the SILs?

Did you end up going? Or did you stay home and relax? And what was their response?

I posted here somewhere... Yeah I went and survived. SILs spent way more than $10.00 per person (except on me) lol. I guess they were teaching me a lesson for interfering with their plans. One of the SILs kids (the 7 yr old) pointed out that I had hardly any gifts while everyone else had all kinds. I just smiled and had a drink. Then the worse PITA SIL had asked me what to get Wynonna before x-mas, I had given her the names of some horror movies that Wynonna wanted. As Wynonna was opening the movies, SIL leaned over and asked me, "don't you think those are too graphic for her?" I tried nicely to remind SIL that she is 17 1/2 almost 18 not 7. I think I may have to face that there is no win/win situation with these women. I will just have to pick my battles. Whichever ones I feel are important enough I will say something and risk pissing them off and the others let go over my head. I had to laugh though because today I get an e-mail from hubby. SIL wants to know when my b-day is (she thought sometime in January?) I told him that if she supposedly thought it was in January then she forgot the last 3 Januarys (she's knows it's in Sept), and Jayson's last 3 birthdays in March. I think what happened is that the other SIL must have mentioned it to her and now she feels "guilty". Heck if I know.
