Oh dear

So My Laptop has a yellow vertical line across hte LCD screen, very common actually and I know what causes it. the power line connecting a row of pixels is failing so only partial colors are showing up causing the yellow streak. I call the place where I bought it at. They say they cannot warranty the LCD screen until i contact HP.....
So I have been "chatting online with an HP "Tech" for an hour. I basically had to tell the guy what was wring, and how to fix it....so i could get my printed permission slip......lol

I hate having to deal with tech services at those companies! Hope you get it sorted soon!

I just find it amazing that he is the "tech", and I am just a SAHM, who knows more about LCD screens than he does......

I hear ya! I've been on the phone with the internet company knowing full well that the problem is at their end, but still having to sit here and pretend to go through their trouble shooting checklist with them before they'll send the guy to fix the wires!
