Need to get some window shades and..

Found some on JCp for $14.99 each, I need 4. I was hoping to find a promo code to save me some money. I checked retail me not but its hard to tell which codes are good and which aren't. Then again, which would save me more money one for a certain percentage off or a free shipping code, etc?

Total would come up to $59.96 before taxes, shipping, or any promo codes. I am looking to save as much as I can. I've been waiting to order some for a long time now, I don't really have the money to be spending on them, but I won't be able to get ones I like for this price, so I am thinking of biting the bullet and ordering them. This will be the first year of the 8 years that I have lived in this house that my livingroom will have curtains and shades. I have had valances and blinds since we moved here. It gets damn cold in the winter and we need something to stem the cold from the window area. On my b-day I ordered 4 window scarves from JCP outlet online for 5 bucks each. They are 144 in long and 54 wide so I can make curtain panels out of them. I wanted to get shades to go with. This looks like a good time as any with the ones I found on sale. If hubby asks why I spent that money from the checking I will just look at him innocently and say that it could be part of my Christmas present...

I always just put in different promo codes and then retotal it each time until I figure out which is the lowest. I wish I knew a great code, but I don't. But I do know my curtains help quite a bit with the drafts.

Thought for fun I would check MyPoints to see how many points I could get for clicking through mypts and ordering from JCP , two points per dollar, how crappy.

Ahh, I ended up choosing the free shipping with an order of $49.00 or more. The only other code I could find that would apply to me was one that was $10.00 off a $25.00 purchase or more, and the shipping was more than $10.00 It still ended up costing $62.96 but for four windows, thats really cheap!

I have GOT to buy some curtains. I have the cheap shades that came iwht the trailer, and thats it. BR needs dark ones in the bedroom.

And I fiqure that since I cant build a porch I need to put some on the living room windows, you cant watch TV for a few hours when the sun is real bright, and BR's chair is at least 10* hotter than the couch 3 feet away. Plus it would help on the electric bill.
