Overwhelmed Empty Overwhelmed

I'm not sure why it always goes this way, but I was busy the last few days trying to finish making all the costumes and when I got up this morning, I realized just how bad things had gotten while I was preoccupied. My house is trashed. There's dirty clothes and dishes everywhere. I mean, I knew it was getting bad, but I was so distracted that I didn't actually look at it. I didn't want to see it. I will be cleaning forever.

I hear ya! I got hit today when dh had to take the van to work which left me with the car. Of course I can't fit the carseats into the car so I had to dig the wagon out of the shed and walk 85 lbs worth of kids 30 minutes to school. Luckily I only had 32lbs worth of kid to pull home. Now I'm really behind on the cleaning and halloween prep. I hate getting behind like this!

Best of luck to you Karen. My DBf decided to take all three of his off days off this week which threw me for a loop. I can't clean when he's here b/c I know it'll be messed up before i'm done.

I'm doing a mini marathon now but music does seem to make it go faster. It's also helping me procrastinate from some school work i'm dreading. study Crying or Very sad

Im right there with you! I did break down and do a load of dishes so dh wouldn't have such a huge mess tomorrow (I will be working).. There is a GIGANTIC amount of laundry waiting to be folded, the kitchen looks just like the backyard with all the leaves that got tracked in over the last hour..
