Walmart Anniversary Sale
Do any of you know about this sale - i.e. when does it start/end, does it include Canada, what are the deals?
I have been to the Walmart website, however, on dial up - well, (many curse words). Thank you.

Re: Walmart Anniversary Sale
We just went shopping yesterday at Walmart yesterday and they had their anniversary sale stuff. I think it started Friday, so I'm assuming it ends on Thursday, but that is just a guess.

Re: Walmart Anniversary Sale
Every year, Walmart (now I'm assuming it's just in Canada) has an anniversary sale with really really good deals.
I don't know everything, but some of the things that we bought (or are thinking of buying in the next day or 2):
6 pk of Bounty Papertowels 2/$10
Duracell batteries (can't remember all the sizes) $5.97 (we got an 8 pk of Ds)
Big box of Pampers (size 4, 140 count) for $29.97
Panasonic cordless phone, 2 handsets, 6.0ghz (or whatever it is) for $60 (we are debating that one since we really really need a new cordless phone).
I don't know if those are good prices for down in the US (or even in other areas of Canada), but where I live, those are some great prices.
There were some more really really good deals. We didn't get a good chance to look at everything since I haven't been feeling the greatest, and DH hurt his back and can't walk for long periods of time. Last years sale was better if I remember correctly. We went back several times to get stuff.

Re: Walmart Anniversary Sale
That's some good deals! But I don't think the Walmart here is having a sale..?
Re: Walmart Anniversary Sale
Yep, we get an annual Walmart sale here. It's pretty good. I think I heard it ends on Thursday.
Re: Walmart Anniversary Sale
Is that the only time they have a sale, or just as really good sale? Here there is a sale every week. I guess the very best prices of the year, would be the Black Friday sale (day after Thanksgiving).
