Since chelle re-did Rayley's room I've gotten inspired to redo the girl's room here.
Plus they are outgrowing their beds.
I'm moving the baby up to a toddler bed and the oldest to a twin bed.
I was just online looking for a CHEAP comforter set, preferably something that goes along with a princess theme.
I've checked Overstock...nada; I've checked Amazon...zip
Does anyone have any suggestions of where I can find bedding I can afford?
(Keep in mind I can only spend about $50.00 total)

I always check any of the local or online stores for clearance sets. Places like Sears, JC Penney, Fingerhut, Overstock, Kmart and I go right for the clearance section first. When all else fails and I can't find what I want, I go right to the fabric department and make my own comforter/shams/curtains and buy sheets and dust ruffle in coordinating colors.

Scar, see if you can find out where your department stores sell their returns/irregulars/extra stock. Most big stores will work out a deal with a thrift shop or reseller that will sell them very cheap. They might have a small stain or a ripped seam that needs repair, but at about 80% off of retail, it's worth it to do small repairs.

Walmart always has some sort of bedding on clearance. That is how we got my favorite bedding set this past winter. We got lucky and got the last one!

Target, Kmart are also good to check the back aisles for some clearance items. If you have a resale shop that specializes in children's items, like Once Upon A Child, or something like that. Most of what I got for my son came from garage sales over the past few years. But I have found some really cool sets at resale shops.

Here are a couple links:

(This link below brings you to 4 Princess toddler bedding sets, I clicked on them and they are $41.63 for the set!)

This one below the twin size set is $50.00

Another thing I used to do is get printed fabric (in your case some princess type) and make pilowcases and throw pillows. At Walmart you can usually get plain solid colored comforters for $24.00 each fro twin size and use the other material to accessorize.

Thanks for the great suggestions.
I went out yesterday & priced a bunch of stuff.
I bought a $50 Disney princess comforter at Big Lots for $25.
I'm going to put plain pink or purple sheets with it and make a couple of throw pillows with the princesses on them with fabric I found on sale a Joanne's fabric.
