New members... speak up, we can't hear you!
Looks like lots of folks have joined over the last few days, and I've noticed not a one has posted.
to all of you who haven't posted: Hey, tell us who you are, where you're from... don't be shy, we're nice people (well you might have to watch out for a couple suspect members )
We'd love to hear from you!

Don't worry Dee, they're busy eating all the ears off the chocolate bunnies! They'll get in the groove eventually. Or maybe they're hivers waiting to catch us posting how to break the rules. A boring job but somebody's got to do it. LOL! Either way it'll all come out in the wash. And either way we'd love you to chime in.

Well, since you two have been posting you can have one, but no toast for the newbies until they start posting
Re: New members... speak up, we can't hear you!
Hey wait - I've been posting too and I NEED a new toaster oven! I splurged on a GE one and it burns the back of everything I cook in it! And speaking of posting, just how long is it gonna take for me to not be a larva????

I think Rebecca told us the first level of achievement (to worker bee) is 75 posts.. noticed you've got 15, so only another 60 to go!

Then I'd better start chatting more, I guess! I'm used to lurking - my DS is always round and about wanting something, so it's easier to read than type!

I believe that toaster oven is the big-a** model that my husband brought home one day as a surprise. And was I ever surprised - it takes up the whole counter!

Re: New members... speak up, we can't hear you!
Once I visited a friend and saw how useful her toaster oven was..
I then HAD to have one!
So, I got one... and yep.. it was small, but so is my kitchen, and it took up way to much space.
One day in a fit of frustration.. I chucked it off my backporch.
I did the same thing with a pizza stone once...
and most recently, a couple of Christmases ago.. an artificial tree
It is very satisfying, I must say...
Now mind you.. I do go and put it properly into the trash later, but the chucking of it off of the porch ...
good for the soul

Ooh, that does sound fun. A drop-kick would work great in certain circumstances.
Toast and Larva...

Re: New members... speak up, we can't hear you!
I'm multitasking and looking up Canadian provinces on wikipedia right now. I have a rough idea where texas is so I can find Chelle, and I know where Dee is, cause she's only a stone's throw away. But my knowledge of geography has been stretched to it's limits. And now I must know.
Re: New members... speak up, we can't hear you!
