I am going to tell Kristin delicately, or maybe not so delicately that she HAS to stop working so much. She is working 5-6 days a week, and the BF is also working 7 days a week. I don't mind watching Xman, 3-4 days a week, but 6 is getting a bit much and I have a life! He really isn't any trouble, but honestly i cannot get anything done, he is 17 months old and into everything.

I can understand that Erin, its great that they work so much, but they need to understand that they are not the babysitters and you raising him. Plus, its hard to deal with a baby and do everything you have to do. or at least it is for me to deal with Bow. He is a good kid, but I cant even pay bills with him awake. I cant do dishes (he helps...) wash clothes, nothing- and GOD FORBID I go to the barn with out him, he will tear down the blinds and now the curtains. And if I take him I am digging him out ofevery mud hole, taking chicks away from him before he loves them to death, or fetching him OUT of the hog pens before they eat him. And having to keep him OUT of the feed because he LOVES to feed, and gets it all over the place.

Are they paying you? Just curious. If not though, I would totally tell them they need to work out something else. Maybe they can put him in daycare a few days a week short term while they fix their schedules.

No, they are not paying me. I wish, but i also wouldn't take their money.
I was just inda irritated when she said "He is working 7/12's so I need to drop Xander off at 4 AM on Sat and Sunday". We kinda had plans for both days, and they did not include him. We need to caulk and paint the garage while the weather is good. Not a want, a NEED, it HAS to be done before May.

I seriously cannot even load the dishwasher if he is awake, and he does not sleep, ever.

She told me before she would change her schedule once he was working again, he has been laid off, and then rained out for weeks. I am going to insist

I don't blame you -- you're not his mother and she's been lucky to have you there to help out as much as you have! It's time for them to pull themselves together and get something planned.
BTW, she wants to drop him off at 4 AM? That's got tired, cranky toddler and tired, cranky you written all over it!

yeah, she has to be at work at 5. He is usually half asleep, and goes back to sleep....sometimes. This morning he was licking me on the forehead at 6 am, and putting his fingers in Dh's ears.
I don't actually get up, she has a key, comes in and plops him in bed with us,.

It worked. I told her HAD to either cut her hours, or pay daycare 2 days a week. She would have to pay for the entire week to hold his spot, $185.. a week,
She is now working 4 days a week, and her friend is going to watch him one of those days. I have a life again...woohoo

NO, it is too close to my bed, and he uses it EARLY, so he can go across the house and pick from either bay's or the guest bath.OR he can go out in the garage and use his.
It is very annying at 6 am to hear the buzzing of an electric razor, shower, radio, vent fan etc....
