today is MY birthday too

but no one would know because I've never been able to figure out how to put in just a month and a day....

DH took me shopping on my annual shop til I drop shopping trip, left at 10 this morning. First stop, Pilot Gas & Travel center... had signed up as a fan on FB and got a coupon for a free 20 bag box of tea (had my choice of many flavors, choose one with caramel in the ingredients).

On to the mall in Clarksville, TN. Found lots of nice stuff, but talked myself out of most, as I realize I really don't need a third black turtleneck, or a 4th pair of black yoga pants... but did end up with some items I really did need to replace in the closet, plus one very "bohemian" (sp) jacket like top (all most didn't buy it, but DH talked me into it... as he too liked. $59, marked down to 37, but today... 9.99 !)
and some absolutely other wonderful bargins (when a turtleneck (red which I needed) is marked down from 36 to 9, and then another 30% off bringing it down to 6.30... how can you not!).
Lunch at Chik-fila's, where we were given free brownies because they felt bad our order (two sandwiches) took so long (what? 5 minutes and they brought it to the table?)...

Went to another couple of stores outside the mall, then planned to go to Outback, but forgot they didn't open until 4, so home, and shortly we'll be going to Applebee's for supper. And we even have a coupon for a free appetizer there!

And to put frosting on my cake... Suvivor begins tonight! WOOT... great day all around.

Dee, you're having one hell of a good birthday so far! LOVE your bargains! I'd love to see the jacket, too. SO glad your husband made you get it! I can talk myself out of a lot of stuff, too.

Jessica, not that I don't don't want to reveal my age, most know I'm 63 (today) or if they don't know, do know I'm old .... HAHA but I hate putting my real birthday down... but you're right, I could put any year, just not 0 ! Cuz I was told you have to be older than 99 !

Supper was delish... we both had cheeseburgers (which is what I had my sights set on) and fries. Had classic hot buffulo chicken wings for appts... and 2 for 1 wine which was a true bargin... 2 glasses of wine for 5 bucks? And better DH doesn't drink... so those were both mine . yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah !

And now.... 20 minutes away, the beginning of Survivor Heros Vs Villians ! WOOT!

today has been a birthday hangover... not front drinking,but all the walking,shopping and mostly all the food which was about 3 days worth of calories I would normally consume.

Yoga helped (although balance was off due to the heavy load in the butt!) and then walked 4 miles on the treadmill... that helped... but made the mistake of coming home and sitting and watching a slew of taped shows we were behind on... gonna be an early to bed night for me

Oh Dee! I'm so sorry I missed it. Happy, happy belated birthday. I'm so glad you had fun with your DH. It sounds like it was totally worth the calorie hang-over.
