It's Date Night!

Hubby and I are headed off to the casino tonight. We've been doin ok when we go. We win what we take..usually a 100 each..sometimes a bit more. . which enables us to go again. We've been on a wee winning streak the past 2 weeks. Once we get a night where we lose though..we don't go again for afew weeks.

I really admire my husband. It's easy to get addicted to the slots. . I have an addicting personality.. probably a good thing I'm not in charge of the finances. We never use bill/rent money. Always have the kids provided for and food.

I can't say it would be that way if i was in charge!

Do you and your spouse go out? What do you do for fun?

I wish! We sometimes go to the movies... but we're kinda broke. And still not getting enough sleep, too. I'm looking forward to the little ones being in school.

Casinos are big here in MI, too. We don't go often but when we do we usually have fun. Actually the casino in Sault Ste. Marie, MI is about the only place we have to go see an actual (B-List artists) concert.

our date night consists of eating dinner after the kids are in bed while watching Survivor. LOL.

Yours sounds waaaaaay more fun.

With bh working 9 - 5 plus some his reserve service and me working midnights all weekend, it's hard to do something like that. He's got some vacation time coming up though so we'll try to get out while he's off.

You know .. Dean and I have been together 6 1/2 years. The past 6 months is the only time we've been able to go out. He accepted a promotion from the company which moved us here to Arizona. Prior to that we had a baby in May 2006..and didnt know anyone in Georgia that we were comfortable babysitting her or the other kids. Plus .. my then 15 year old was more then a handful and we just couldn't trust her if we left the house.

So, when we moved here in Sept. . we started going to the casino. Caitlin (the then 15 yr old) is in Canada..and now that Kira is almost 2.. Sarah .. my 14 1/2 year old is like a 2nd mother to her.. that girl begs us to go out so she can babysit Kira lol

It's a long road to a bit of freedom..much enjoyed however.
