I'd just bathe them in the bathtub.

Then use your Oust spray the tub and then turn on the scrubbin bubbles shower cleaner!

No way am I touching these dogs! The stink is way too bad to bathe them inside. I love them, but not enough to do that!

I also love the pet stories. My favorite of ours is that when Caly was about 2 we got a cat, and a few months later she had kittens in the bottom of Caly's closet. Well there was no keeping Caly out of there. Hours after they were born (the first time the momma came out) Caly got in the closet and squatted down over them to where her butt was barely touching them. I asked what she was doing. "Hatchin' 'em."

And those kittens always thought she was there momma. She could carry them around by the tail (until they were almost fully grown) swinging them back and forth as she walked, and they'd just purr.

I love pet stories too. Just recently, about 2 months ago, I bought a min pin poodle. He is just a little guy but I was so worried he would torment the 2 cats. They are all best of friends now. Every morning as I am getting ready for work the one cat, Socks (yes he has white feet), plops himself in the middle of the hallway and the puppy just runs back and forth as he tries to swat at him. It is quite adorable. Eventually Benny, the puppy, will bite his tail and then the REAL fun begins lol Animals can have such personalities, it amazes me.

My dogs and Cat all got skunk sprayed last night, so NO way are any of them coming in. When DD gets home we will bathe them in vinegar, tomatoe juice, anything else I can think of .....the bad thing is, the dogs got in the pool. Not sure of the samage, but UGH it stinks.

Tomatoe juice really does work. Duke killed a skunk not too long ago and I had to bathe him.

Stupid dog. Usually its just possums.

I was in the other room cleaning when I heard something go splat. I could tell something that hit the floor. When I walked out, there was my bichon eating the banana layer cake. He pulled the tablecloth until he could get the cake. He was covered in frosting and looked at me as if to say,"My compliments to the cook." I had to laugh. Hubby didn't find it as humerous though as he had no cake for his evening snack.

OMG! How awful!!

Well, my "fur kid" enjoyed the cake. I was glad it wasn't the german chocolate one I had baked for my daughters birthday.

The chocolate one would have been a tragedy!

OMG I forgot the skunk story... two years ago the dog (same one ) wanted out desperately in the middle of the night... I had already told dh I had smelled skunks outside.. did he THINK about that fact in the middle of the night? NO.... so he let the dog out... the dog gets sprayed... again dh doesn't notice and lets him IN... OMG... I woke up thinking the house must be on fire! By 8am I was researching finding ways to get rid of the smell. If you've been there.. you know that nothing really makes a difference.. for a week I had to appologize for the smell in the house... one time my dog wasn't so smart.... he rubbed over the carpet, over his bed, over the couch... YUCK

The day that Duke got sprayed I was working across the highway ( I am VERY RUral, and there is a convience store on the crossroads that I live on) its not 1/10 of a mile. Including my driveway.

Well I had to be at work at 5:30. I went out and DUke had been sprayed. I had JUST let him out. I had to go to work. You could smell it ALL over. it smelt like it had happened infront of the store. And the skunk sprayed my truck (outside of it) too. I had smelt it the second he passed me coming back in. Grabbed his collar and got it on my hands. I had to go to work and buy a lemon to get it off me! LOL

ALL day folks were walking in and asking if someone had hit a skunk in the parking lot! LOL

One time a few years ago Scott got up to pee in the middle of the night. We're out in the middle of nowhere 1/10 of a mile to the nearest neighbor... so he goes to pee off the end of the porch. As he's finishing, one of the cats comes and rubs up against his leg. So he reaches down and pets it... and it's not a cat. It's a skunk. He didn't get sprayed. But he always said that it was only timing that saved him from wetting himself. He said he just looked at it and it looked at him and he froze and when he could move again he says to it, "Now OK, let's just both be calm here." Then they went there separate ways.

OMG Karen!! I would have paniced and gotten sprayed as I ran like the wind back in the house!! Not that I'd be out on the porch peeing in the first place!! lmao
