I've thought and thought and can't figure it out.

Maybe the "4 of the nicest biggest __________" was eggs? But aren't they kind of young to be laying eggs? The chickens, I mean, not the kids. I don't think even your kids can lay eggs.

But the other thing... a rabbit? A puppy? I have no clue.


However, I do have a game of my own.

Scott (my DH) shouted to me from the field the other day. He'd found a ________ and wanted me to bring him something to put it in. I brought it, but I told him I didn't want him keeping it. I told him to kill it on the spot. He said he wanted to take it into his school because his students might want to see it. It was half again as big as any he'd ever seen or heard of. I told him that was all the more reason to kill it right then. Our toddler Zoe wanted to look at it and he showed it to her, explaining that if she ever saw one that was loose she should leave it alone because it was very, very dangerous. It could kill her! Caly wouldn't even look at it and neither would I. Yuck! It gives me the creeps just thinking about it, never mind putting it in the car and taking it to school. And when he got it to school everyone, students and teachers alike, got very excited to see it.

So what was it?

Hints:
1. No one wants one as a pet.
2. Everyone here will at least have heard of it.
3. You will all think he is crazy for having it in his car when you find out what it was.

Another child! The neighbors perhaps?

Just kidding... Umm a tic?

I'm glad I am reading this now instead of last night. I'd be having nightmares.

And we have a winner! Yes. A black widow spider! He reports that it's happily building a web inside the container I gave him. I think he's insane.

Black widow better than a Brown Widow, more aggressive, but less poisonous....still make you wish you were dead though.

We have a birds nest, in the garage, and a VERY protective generally ticked off Mama Mocking bird. I am having issues doing laundry, she keeps dive bombing me, and the dogs will soon have no hair on their heads

We found one last summer right outside my back door. I hate those things, they are creepy...ewwwwww

Never even heard of a brown widow. Is that anything like a brown recluse? We have those here and they scare me.

No, a Brown Widow is in the family of the black widow, less agressive, but more poisonous.

Nope, not eggs. of any sort.

Dewberries. They keep bringing me 4 or 5 at a time wanting me to make them a cobbler.. LOL

Karen. There is no way in HELL I would even go near him, the box, or antyhing else where a spider has been. I cant handle them. Just thinking about it, gives me the absolute creeps.. LOL

"seriously, they went camping at their camp house last weekend, found a nest of eggs under their canoe and brought them home to incubate them. Thinking they were turkey eggs. "
well, I thought imediatly snake eggs.... NOPE>

Come to find out- it wernt snake, it wernt turkey, and it sure as hell wasnt eagles... . They hatched out some buzzards....

THIS is why I told my kids my incubator didnt work..... LOL
