Needlework and Quilting magazines up for grabs Empty Needlework and Quilting magazines up for grabs

As mentioned in the quilting thread, I've got a bunch of needlework magazines that I'd be happy to send to a new home. I'll be sorting through them and posting a few at a time. First to post a request for a specific title or for a few of the McCalls Needlework, gets 'em. If you'd like to send something in trade, that's fine. I'd appreciate some help with the postage costs, but that's optional.

For the first round:
Lady's Circle Patchwork Quilts #14
Quilting Today - August 1993
Quilting Today - October 1992
Quilters Newsletter Magazine - Jan/Feb 1992 - #239
Needlecraft for Today - May/June 1983
Needlecraft for Today - May/June 1982
Needlecraft for Today - Sep/Oct 1981
plus about two dozen McCalls Needlework and Crafts from various dates ranging late 70s to 90s

If you see something you'd like, post a claim, then PM me with which item(s) you want and your mailing information.

I would be interested in a Quilting magazine or two that has some beginner/intermediate quilt patterns in it. Let me know if you have any that fit the bill, I could pay shipping. Smile

The Quilters Newletter issue has an article on Introduction to Strip Piecing, Kelly. Does that sound like something you'd like to try? It also has a wall quilt project that has a center pieced block surrounded by a big heart design plus an article on machine quilting.

Could any of you recommend a website that could teach you basic quilting?
Thanks
