I'm hoping Scott will be making a lasagna. Yum! His cooking is far better than mine.

I'm going with hot dogs tonight due to a time crunch and to save the nicer dinners (roast etc) for when 21 y.o. son is home for the holiday. He's ready for home cooked food.

my husband would love to come up and have dinner with you! other than fried winnies, his favorite is friend balogna! (had to sing the Oscar Mayer song to spell that!) but he loves mac & cheese, which is a staple "side" in the south...(yuk) but it's nothing like home made mac & cheese we northerners grew up on. more like a soup LOL

and for us tonight, hubby made onion soup... outstanding. he makes a wonderful cheese/cruton flat thing to put in the bottom of the bowl... and he adds some hot pepper to the soup which gives it a great bite... it was delish!

and I fried up Zummu sausages. for me and the kids

THis diet thing is freakin killing me. I have gained 5 pounds. I kid you not. and he has lost 3. in over a month.

I am SOOO wanting some fried pork chops and mac and cheese (kraft, I aint eatin no homemade stuff.. LOL that is one of the very few things I eat from a box, everything else is homemade)

But I really really really want some deer meat (fried), biscuts, gravey, corn and mashed taters. OH and some bacon wrapped green beans drowned in butter and brownsugar Smile

I LOVE Mac and Cheese! It's the perfect food! I wasn't sure what to make tonight but Mac and Cheese sounds YUMMY! I think we're either going to have chicken sandwiches and Mac and Cheese, or grilled cheese and tomato soup (the other perfect food!)... What's for dinner? 545780

LOL... I DO love homemade soup... mac and cheese I can do without.. I had to crack up earlier though.. dh (delivers pizza for pizza hut this time of year) had to work a double today.. so not only did I get the pizza earlier that we had for dinner.. he showed up around 730 with a huge box of mac n cheese n bacon pasta for our dinner.. a little late and he did try to get it here earlier..

So guess what Miss Katie gets for dinner tomorrow night? LOL
