Hasbro Super SOAKER Max- D 2000

I purchased this water gun on Monday, in the hopes of having water fun with my little sister, and low and behold it did not soak us at all. There was just a little stream of water, more of a squirt… I was very disappointed, not only because it didn’t work. My little sister then began pelting me with ice which was not a good substitute for the water guns not working.

SO I called the 1-800 number on the box, and the CSR informed me that the models were discontinued. Well woo-hoo… Why are they still being sold? I bet they are discontinued because they did not work!!! So they are sending me a label and I will return the defective soakers for replacements of a compatible style.

All along I thought I was getting a good deal, as they were on sale at Target for $3. If anyone else were having problems, I would advise calling the 1-800 number and complaining. These toys should not continue to be sold if they are not going to live up to the title’s description.

I'm glad they will be replacing it for you. I love Hasbro, they have always been very good about problems in the past for me.

They can be a lot of fun! I have a gigantic one, not sure what model but full it weighs about 30 lbs and it shoots clear across my big yard and drenches you.

Ice is definatly not in my top 5 list to have thrown at me.
Hmm now I have to go look for it.

Hasbro sent a replacement for the Super Soaker Max D 2000. They sent ONE Super Soaker Aqua Shock Arctic Blast, according to Amazon it is valued at $64.99 and it shoots ice. Imagine that!!!

It is very large, and a vest that holds extra water can be purchased along with it. However this Super Soaker Aqua Shock Arctic Blast is too big for a 6-year old to play with, even Amazon says it is for 7 and up. I am sure they mean 7 year old boys...

I did call to see if there were going to be another one coming, since I sent back 2 of the Super Soaker Max D 2000 guns. It is going to be hard to play water gun shoot out, if only one person has a gun and that particular gun shoots ice! They told me to send it back, but I declined, and said I would have to make do. But I wanted to be on record that I sent in two and only got one as a replacement.

Well, it's a nice replacement, but my goodness that sounds big! I also don't think I'd WANT to shoot ice! UGH!

Glad you at least went on the record. Hope you can at least have some fun!

I'm sorry you only got one, but glad they did at least that. Ice shooting just sounds dangerous to me though. Since there is only one- you should just spray the kids Smile

We have one, but it doesn't shoot ice, it shoots a stream of VERY cold ice water. You put ice in the tank with the water.

Your right Edbson, it does not actually shoot ice. I was looking at the pictures on the box and the ice loader. Apparently the ice keeps the water super cold. I had to read the directions for a second time..

ROFL Edbson! I could see how it would be effective for that! I feel much better knowing it shoots VERY cold water, though that doesn't sound fun.....at least not to me!!!

My brothers remember my extreme fear of toads and frogs and would chase me with live ones... *shivers* I really am scared of what Timmy will be dragging home...

Hasbro sent me two Nerf N-Strike Nite Finder EX-3 today. They were in this huge Fed Ex Box, I could see it when I pulled up the drive. I wondered what it was.

These are little plastic guns that shoots micro darts.
