Friday the 13th

Happy Friday the 13th! Does anyone have any stories or memories associated with this date?

To celebrate (well not really, it just works out that way) I'm going to go see a guy do a Johnny Cash show. Can't wait!

oh frick.. I hate Friday the 13th.

Do you know how it started? very interesting. And it does involove death, dismemberment and betrayal.

Not to mention LOTS of bad luck..

Just a hint, go back a few hundred or 6 years.

I have had good and bad experiances on Friday the 13th's...

I don't remember too much of details though, so I have no stories.

I am hoping that today will be a good one. Last few Fridays that I have had, have been way less than steller...

On a sad note my brother and his wife of 13 years are seperating tomorrow (the 13th)..apparently she met a dude online..talked to him on the phone 4-5 times and decided after 13 years... its over.

Needless to say he's not taking it well.. and she's leaving the 3 kids w/him.

Friday the 13ths have never proven to do any good for my family.

Well Chelle, tell us all about it. I thought it all because of those horrid movies. I LOVE the nightmare on elm street and halloween movies, in fact I love most scary movies but jason creeps me right out. I can not watch them, I still have nightmares and I will not swim in a lake.

Friday the 13th has ALWAYS been lucky for me! I actually won a big screen tv a few years back on a Friday the 13th! LOL! I expect nothing less than good things, but really that's every day!

I live along the route to Port Dover. Every Fri the 13 bikers gather there. Not sure how that got started, but it's pretty cool to see some of the bikes go past!

It's usually a good day for me. 13 is my lucky number.

I Love the 13th! Two years ago, on October, Friday the 13th, I got a positive pregnancy test. Nine months later on July 1st, my baby girl was born. I had no intentions of testing that day, while we were trying to get pregant I didn't think it happened that month. But my drs. office called and said there was a problem with my urine test and after asking what could have caused it she gave me a list of ideas, one being pregnancy.

Sorry Darlene. This date was the anniversary of me and and ex. We were together 11 years. Broke up a couple ago. Can't help but think of it today. Not a depressing thing anymore, but not exactly a happy one. That's why I try to do something fun on this date every year.

I never got the thing about friday the 13th....or the number 13... always seemed silly to me. Like the black cat thing.. I always have a black cat ( or two) lol.

Are we going to start dreading every date that had a terrible or historic event?

I didn't even realize it was the 13th.. good thing! I had a good day so can't complain and can't remember any bad days on the 13th.

I am so sorry for everyone that is having a bad day today!

I am hoping that it is all just a coincidence of it being the date and all that is happening.

I hope that nothing bad happens, and that for those that already have had bad things, things get better.

I'm sorry Tara! I can only imagine how hard that is. My cat is ten years old, I love him to bits, took care of him since he was a kitten and would be a mess if he were to die.
