Hello and welcome!! just getting caught up today on welcoming folks!! i have only been here a little while and i am really enjoying it!

May I say that my daughter and her hubby have also decided not to have children- certainly gets a mixed reaction. I support the right to make that decision. All i ever wanted was to be married with children- times have certainly changed.

So glad you found us- take your time and enjoy your stay here. Its a great group to hang out with and a wonderful source for Bzz Agent.

Karen, thanks for thinking that us not having kids is a good thing. You are the only one that I have met that thinks so. My hubby and I are total soulmates and love the life we have. We just don't want to have kids. Our families and most of our friends just don't understand. But shouldn't you do the right thing instead of ruining some poor innocent child's life because you couldn't manage birth control?

Now, if God wants to intervene, then we will be happy to have kids. But for right now, that is not our plan.

By the way, Karen, I love your avatar!!! It looks like my hair sometimes. LOL!

I agree wholly with Karen. Having children is right for some and not right for others. There is so much that life has to offer that it's like a smorgasbord,
take a little of this and a little of that and make sure that you are doing good and it all works out.

Welcome Connie, and thanks for bringing up this older post. I enjoyed reading about Tara's former avatar. Every time my son sneaks up behind me these days he sees Tara's new avatar. He always says What's that baby doing? and I always say Just loving life! Tara has the best avatars!

Connie, you can ALWAYS bring up an old post to agree with me. Heck, I might just start bringing up some old posts just to agree with myself!

Seriously, though, we don't mind. We wander off topic and bring up old posts and ramble on. It's very relaxed around here and no one is going to mind at all. I'm just happy to meet new people and chit chat with the ones I've gotten to know. So, welcome to our board and make yourself at home.
